Today’s review is about Dove Silky & Straight Shampoo. I never miss an opportunity to buy Dove products. I am a big fan of their products and am always looking forward to using their new products. I recently found this new shampoo at the drugstore. The packaging was so different, attractive and stylish that I was tempted to pick it up. Normally I buy the corresponding conditioner with the shampoo, but I couldn’t find any conditioner linked to it. So ended up buying the just shampoo.

The Dove Silky & Straight Shampoo contains the CARE – ACTIVE SERUM , which nourishes the hair at the cellular level and protects against frizz . The hair surface is perfectly smooth. For supple well-groomed, silky smooth hair. Suitable for daily use.

Packaging:
The shape of the bottle is very stylish. It’s not a normal, boring, straight bottle. It has curves that make it look more feminine. The base is broad and it gradually tapers near the lid. The lid and the neck of the bottle are triangular in shape.

My Experience with Dove Silky and Straight Shampoo with Active Serum:

Even though the bottle is curvy, it stays stable on the counter and have never seen it fall off. The bottle is silky cream in color. The bottle comes with a flip lid. It’s easy to open and close the cap. The cap closes securely and I don’t see it getting opened by mistake. This product is definitely travel safe.

One more plus point is that it fits in easily in a packed bag as the shape allows itself to squeeze. The shampoo is creamy and white in color. The consistency is good and easy to apply all over wet hair. It lathers very well and smells great.

Now a days I try and oil my hair at least once a week. Many a times I shampoo my hair more than once to remove all the oil applied. But with this shampoo I just had to apply once. I used a little more than a coin size to wash my medium length hair. The shampoo leaves my hair soft and silky. There are no knots in the hair even after all the scrubbing and washing. The hair and scalp feel very clean and fresh.

I love the way my hair smells after wash. The fragrance lasts around 2 hours after washing. The shampoo claims to protect against frizz. I saw that it reduced frizz, but not completely removed it. But I always use an anti-frizz serum after shower. Over all, it’s a good shampoo. I am pretty satisfied with the results.
