Dove Supreme Fine Silk Beauty Cream Wash
By now you all must be aware that I am an impulsive buyer when it comes to toiletries and skin care products. I am easily drawn by good packaging and offers. Well on one of my regular trips to the local discount store, my eyes fell on the Dove offers. There was an offer on Dove Beauty Wash range and I picked up the Dove Supreme Fine Silk Beauty Cream Wash. And to be honest mainly because of the colour of the bottle. It’s a pastel cream with a hint of golden wordings. I guess these hand washes were from an older/newer batch or some special promotion because I later saw the same hand wash in a different packaging in the pharmacy.
What the product claims: Dove Silk Cream Wash gently cleanses your hands with a special formulation that helps protect your skin’s natural moisture levels. A special combination of pure silk and moisturiser helps give your hands a silky smooth touch.
It also claims that – Dove Cream Wash nurtures the skin with 1/4 moisturising lotion in every wash leaving hands soft and clean.

The company also claims that the hand wash is so mild that you can also use it on your face.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium laureth sulphate, glucerin, isopropyl palmitate, parfum, PPG 12, sodium lauryl sulpahte, sodium chloride, citric acid, benzyl alcohol, limonene, sodium benzoate to name a few.

My experience
I have been using Dove products for more than a decade and like the others this one is also a winner. The smell is so lovely – absolutely gorgeous. I am unable to describe it properly – but when you use it you get a feel of silk or satin or something very soft and luxurious. The hand wash is creamy like Dove body washes and lathers well. It also washes off easily and doesn’t leave any residue or sticky feeling. The company claims that it has 1/4 moisturising cream in it which must be true because it does leave your hand soft and moisturised.
In fact I found this hand wash to be more like a body wash. I have used it a couple of times as a body wash too ☺
Pros of Dove Supreme Fine Silk Beauty Cream Wash
– absolutely gorgeous smell
– lathers well
– it is moisturising
Cons of Dove Supreme Fine Silk Beauty Cream Wash
– has alcohol
Price: Retails at £2.30 per 250ml but you get it for £1 in many discount stores.
Rating and verdict – 3.75 out of 5.
I have no favourites when it comes to hand washes. I like to keep trying new ones. So even though I liked this one, I may not repurchase simply because I would like to try the other ones out there.

Agree with you Krupa. Dettol or any other handwash which claims to be anti bacterial is a must…I have those at home
Got this as an extra addition mainly because of its outer appearance…but it moisturises well…have kept it in the kitchen as I tend to wash my hands so many times while int he kitchen…so needed something which moisturises
