Hello My Beautiful IMBBians,
How are you all? I took a long break from my busy and stressed-out life, went for a vacation, but I was silently connected with you all through your wonderful articles! Sometimes, all we need is a break to keep things on track, isn’t it? Now, I am doubly energized and enthusiastic to welcome the ups and downs in my life with that big and bold smile. That’s how they say that smiling faces are not always free of worries but they strongly depict your inner strength to overcome any hurdle, negativity in your life! Anyway, before I start giving philosophical lectures, let me get back to today’s review – it’s a product from the well-known brand – Dr. Jart. I have a really weird oily/sensitive skin, which always sets in equilibrium with every skin care regimen after some time and hence I cannot stick to any one skin care product in my life. Well, the credit also goes to the fluctuating temperatures of the place where I live! I laid my hands on this Dr. Jart + Cleansing Foam some time back and so far, I am happy with my purchase though I will think twice before splurging on this pricey cleanser again 😛 So, please read on further to know more about Dr. Jart+ Black Label Detox O2 Cleansing Foam.
$24 for 3.5 Fl Oz (100 ml), exclusive of taxes and shipping charges.
This thick, white, foamy cleanser comes in a sturdy, opaque black tube packaging with flip top cap. It does have a faint smell which is hardly noticeable. Overall, the packaging is travel friendly.
My Experience with Dr. Jart Black Label Detox O2 Cleansing Foam:
This product is formulated with triple dose of oxygen in form of oxygen water as compared to normal tap water and which also claims to give glowing skin day by day while removing impurities from the skin’s surface and hence I had high hopes from the cleanser. I would say that it does what it claims to do up to a good extent though I was expecting it to be extraordinary considering its innovative oxygen water properties! I have been using it since a month and I definitely noticed glowing and healthy skin texture as well as skin tone apart from being acne and blemish free. However, I believe every decent cleanser does the same, isnt’ it?
I like it for the fact that it helped me in clearing existing blemishes and zits apart from checking future issues. It also gave me clean and clear skin tone, but I don’t know somehow I am not convinced with this cleanser as my previous cleansers used to work in the same way and a few of them cost a fraction.
The good part is that I only need a small, pea-sized amount to work an intense lather that’s sufficient for my face and neck. I get squeaky clean yet soft skin post wash with toned pores for good hours, honestly. I can’t skip toner from my CTM routine though! I also feel that it is not much effective against stubborn blackheads and whiteheads as I can still notice those nasty whiteheads and black heads around my nose and chin area even after using this cleanser twice a day regularly! It does not claim to rinse off face makeup, but I observed that it gently removes face makeup including primer, powder, kajal and lipstick well though I always prefer to use makeup remover wipes or cotton prior to using this cleanser at night.
Overall, I have nothing negative to talk about this cleanser, it gave me clean and clear skin, works well for sensitive skin as I haven’t noticed any issues so far, but still, I am not completely convinced to get it again. But I would definitely recommend this cleanser to all of you – preferably gals who are blessed with problem-free skin. You will love it for its hydrating and gentle cleansing properties.

Cons of Dr. Jart Black Label Detox O2 Cleansing Foam:
- The formulation of cleanser is definitely innovative though results are almost similar to that of any normal cleanser.
- It is not much effective against blackheads and white heads.
Well, I am relieved that it is at least a SLS and paraben-free skin care product and I would like to continue with it as long as I am not able to get another SLS and paraben-free cleanser. Though I am sure we have plenty of options which are formulated without these chemicals, I am interested in exploring other stuff rather than getting it again! But yes, it is definitely worth a try. I would like to give it 4/5, as it is a pretty good cleanser though it’s pricey.
