Hello Beauty Conscious Ladies!!!
I have used sheet masks in the past, but this one is a bit more on the expensive side. It caught my attention on my recent trip to Sephora and it seemed to have good reviews online, hence I purchased it. Read on further for more details about it 🙂
What it is: An ultra-hydrating hypoallergenic mask made of natural fiber and botanicals.
Great for all skin types including sensitive skin, Water Replenishment Cotton Sheet Mask contains allantoin and witch hazel for continuous moisture. The soothing bio-cellulose sheet features an immediate cooling sensation, leaving skin feeling clean, hydrated, and completely refreshed. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. This product is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner.
My Take on Dr. Jart+ Water Replenishment Cotton Sheet Mask:
I prefer ready-to-apply sheet masks because they are perfect for beauty conscious people who have time crunch and cannot devote hours on a rigorous skin care regime and also sheet masks do not leave a mess behind which works fine for me.
Packaging: Comes in a plastic sachet – turquoise green and white in color – looks attractive and sophisticated. On the back side, there are instructions and description written in English which explains how it has to be used and what it does. The sachet has to be cut to get the product out – it has a sheet snugly folded in, and to my delight, was soaking in moisturizing fluid which is in surplus quantity as bit of it is left behind when the sheet is taken out of sachet.
How To Use: Carefully unfold the sheet and do that fast or most of the fluid would come down on your palm. Identify the right holes for eyes, nose and lips and apply on clean, dry face and press it in place.
Fragrance: Subtle to no fragrance, which works great for me because I despise strong artificial fragrances.
It is very easy to apply and press in place. It is super wet but not dripping wet. It imparts a cooling sensation. The sheet mask fluid did not dry out for the entire duration it was on my face.
This sheet mask is meant for dry and dehydrated skin and now I know why – the fluid is very slimy in consistency and the mask applies an even layer of this fluid on skin which is not at all uncomfortable and does not make me want to wash my face as soon as sheet is off of my face.
I let it be on my skin for 15 to 20 minutes and after removal, it left a generous amount of fluid on the face which I then massaged into my skin so that it gets better absorbed by my face. My face stayed well moisturized for hours, even after a long night’s sleep.
I am very happy with this sheet mask, it lives up to its claims and made my face soft and smooth. Unlike other sheet masks that I have used in the past, Dr Jart’s mask has a long-lasting effect comparatively.
