My Experience with Dr Organic Cocoa Butter Wonder Oil:
The product comes in a cardboard package. You can see the bottle through the space on the design. The product comes unsealed. There is a lot of information on the outer package. Once you open the package, you can see a dark brown plastic bottle with a white cap. The packaging is pretty simple, there are white highlights on the bottle and the screw cap closes well without any leakage. There is a stopper with a hole to dispense the oil. The package is good and is made with good quality and the product is a good companion for travelling too.
The oil has a runny texture and is almost transparent with a yellowish tint. It smells dominantly of cocoa butter, but it also has a nutty like smell which kind of takes away unwanted attention. I wish it was only cocoa butter. The nutty fragrance is due to the presence of other oils in the mixture.
The product is called a wonder oil and can be used for hair, body and face. This is more like an all-in-one oil which is great. The product is very light on the skin and gets absorbed immediately onto the skin. However, since it is an oil you can expect some greasy feeling after the application and however, it does get absorbed onto the skin within a few minutes. The product instantly eliminates any dryness on the skin. It makes the skin very soft and smooth over the usage. The product also soothes the skin without causing any irritation. This can be a great option for using after a wax as it calms the irritated skin. The product moisturizes the skin very well. I do not have the need for a reapplication. The product intensively takes care of the skin for the whole day. The product also rejuvenates and regenerate the skin tone. I have noticed that my skin feels much silkier and smoother than before. The product is great for the body.
Face: I used the product for my face, but it feels very greasy. It makes my skin very shiny in the morning and at the night, I need to wait for it to get absorbed before I sleep to prevent it rubbing off on my pillows. I noticed that my skin felt very soft and supple and also had an added radiance but, I got a pimple 2 days after using it on the face and I am sure it is because of the greasiness and I decided to stop using it. The product could be a good choice for people who have dry skin.
Hair: The product is a little greasy compared to the traditional leave in hair oils and this makes my hair look a little greasier. It moisturizes my dry ends effectively but, I wouldn’t want to look like someone who has oiled the hair when I go out as it kind of sticks the hair together. However, if I use it at night, I have noticed that my hair feels smoother and shinier. The product is definitely not recommend as a leave on but could benefit if used before hair washing. But, I would stick to my coconut oil as I prefer it over this.
The product is free from paraben, silicones, any colorants and chemicals and this makes it a perfect organic product. Overall, it is a good product and I like it. Since it is completely organic, I like the product better. So summing up
