My Experience with Dr. Organic Hair Rescue and Restore Organic Hemp Oil Rescue Shampoo:

Box of Dr Organic Hair Rescue and Restore Organic Hemp Oil Rescue Shampoo

Dr. Organic Hair Rescue and Restore Organic Hemp Oil Rescue Shampoo comes housed in a silver cardboard box, which is not sealed. The product-related information is printed on both the bottle and the box. The shampoo itself comes in a white colored translucent bottle. One can see the quantity of the shampoo left inside. The silver screw cap comes with a little flip on the cap, and you can use it for dispensing the shampoo. There is no leakage, and the product is sleek, and thus it’s easier to carry around.

The shampoo is honey-like in color and has a thick texture. It has a very sticky gel-like texture and is easy to spread and does not slather off from your palms. The smell of the shampoo is weird! It has a medicinal smell, almost like a weed smell. The strong odour can be a big turn off, and I wish they had added a fragrance to it. However, after washing, the smell vanishes away within 15-20 minutes, so nothing to worry about. The shampoo doesn’t lather much, so during the initial use, I used more than the required quantity. Hence, one must be careful while using it.

The shampoo cleanses the hair thoroughly by taking away all the dirt and oil from the hair. Even though the shampoo doesn’t lather much, it works like a charm for oiled hair too. It removes even the tiniest of oil/dirt present. The shampoo makes the hair soft but not like a conditioner, and thus a conditioner must be followed or else the hair looks a bit dry. The shampoo is meant for regenerating hair growth, and I have been using it every other day for almost two weeks now. It is a bit early to comment on it but, I noticed a significant reduction in hair fall within two to three uses. After two weeks, I hardly noticed any hair on my comb or hair band.

Dr Organic Hair Rescue and Restore Organic Hemp Oil Rescue Shampoo Opened

I haven’t noticed any change in my hair growth yet, but for now, my hair fall is completely under control. The shampoo does make the scalp a bit oily on the next day but, it is manageable. Hemp oil contains Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and is known for boosting the hair growth. It makes the hair shinier, and I feel there is a difference. The shampoo doesn’t control much frizz, and thus you need to use an anti-frizz serum to combat the issue. The product is free from SLS, colorants, parabens and is made using natural ingredients, so it’s certainly a good buy. However, the shampoo is expensive for a drugstore brand.

There are three products available in the hemp range: a shampoo, conditioner and a mousse. I didn’t buy the conditioner as I already have a good one. I’m also planning to purchase a hemp hair oil to follow a hemp hair care routine to see if it does any miracles, and if it does, I’m sure I wouldn’t look for any other hair care product. So, if you are looking for a product to combat hair fall, this shampoo is worth the buy.

So, summing up:
