Most of us are not new to exotic oils. It was only after I came to know IMBB, I started experimenting with oils after reading DIYs and their benefits. I have lived all my life with coconut oil and castor oil! I have been buying products free from chemicals and Dr Organic is one such brand. I recently picked up few oils from the brand and today’s review is all about Dr Organic Pure Moroccan Argan Oil. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Dr Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Liquid Gold 100% Pure Oil:

The oil comes in a cardboard package. There is all the information needed on the box. Once you open the box, the oil comes in a transparent glass bottle with a silver screw cap. There is some gold embossed designs on the bottle and this is similar to all the other products from the Moroccan oil range. The product is also Bio Active certified and you can see the logo on the bottle. The glass bottle feels a little heavy, but it is thick and travel-friendly. There is a stopper at the mouth of the bottle which dispenses the liquid. However, it is not effective in what it does! It is a task to get a few drops out of this and I need to keep swaying my arms up and down to get oil onto my palms. Since it is a glass bottle, you cannot squeeze the bottle to get it out. I hate the process. However, this will make me use less/necessary oil instead of a lot!

The Argan oil is an all-purpose oil. You can use it for hair, face, body and nails. The ingredients show that it contains nothing other than Argan oil. The oil is yellowish in color and has a thin consistency. It is not sticky and the application is very good. The product smells very natural without any perfume, but it has a nut like smell. This lingers around for a long time and I do not like it as it is not pleasant.

For Face: The product gets absorbed pretty quickly and doesn’t leave any residue. I have used the oil alone on my face and I can see that it makes the skin pretty soft and smooth. It also makes the skin supple. Even though it can be used at day or night, I prefer to use it at night as in the day, it makes my face a little shinier especially near the T-Zone. The product provides intense moisturization and it nourishes the skin and lips by preventing any dryness. I feel it as a good substitute for a night cream. You can add a little oil to your body lotion and rub it over the body. Since the oil is expensive, I use it only for face and hair for now. Argan oil is also known to have anti-ageing benefits. While I have not noticed any differences now, I see that my face has a subtle radiance and looks very healthy.

For Nails: The product can be massaged onto the nails. It heals brittle nails and strengthens them. It also adds a sheen to the nails and makes it look healthy.

For Hair: Argan oil is known to do miracles to the hair. One of the main reasons for me to pick this product was to nourish my hair. My hair is prone to split ends and one of the reasons is dryness and I use good products to moisturize the locks. Even though I do not be apply it like the traditional method, I use the product as a serum after a shower to my hair ends. The product moisturizes and nourishes my hair and prevents dryness but, it makes my hair ends look oily. If I use 2 drops, it kind of looks like a wet look style. I already have oily scalp and with this application, my hair turns a bit oilier which I am not so fond of! It also has the weird smell that stays for long. I have noticed that the oil gets completely absorbed within a day by the hair and you need a reapplication the next day. The product does reduce frizziness, but use it only if you have dry hair. The product also adds healthy shine to the hair. Ever since I have been using the oil, I have noticed that my hair has strengthened significantly. I use 3-4 drops along with my regular hair oil for a hot treatment and it is doing some good.

Overall, Argan oil is a great addition for me! Since it is 100% pure oil, I am able to get the maximum benefits out of it and it is worth a try. So summing up
