I love rose scented products. I recently spotted rose oil based products from Dr organic and I picked up a scrub, mask, shampoo and lotion from the same range. The shampoo is already reviewed on IMBB, and today’s review is all about Dr Organic Rose Otto Skin Lotion.

My Experience with Dr Organic Rose Otto Skin Lotion:
The lotion comes in a white tube with rose picture and maroon colored details on it. It has a white flip cap which closes with a click and dispenses the liquid effectively. All the necessary information is present on the back of the tube. I prefer bottles for my lotion and I picked this one only for the rose fragrance. Usually tubes give a hard time when they near the end.
There is no leakage and thus the product is a good companion for travels. The lotion is creamy and has a thick consistency. It is white in color and feels rich. The fragrance is amazing. It smells of delicious roses and the scent is very similar to Dabur Rose Water. I would buy the lotion anyway for its fragrance. The dispenser dispenses the lotion without any issue.
The cream, even though is rich, feels very lightweight on the skin. It gets instantly absorbed and doesn’t leave any residue. The product gets quickly absorbed and you will hardly feel anything is there on the skin. A little cream is enough for moisturizing a larger area. The lotion instantly adds suppleness and softness to the skin while it engraves itself onto the skin.
The rose fragrance stays on for around 30-45 minutes and then fades away. I wish it stayed longer as you wouldn’t need a perfume then! The lotion effectively moisturizes the skin. It instantly soothes the area and eliminates dryness or flakes. The product doesn’t cause any issues on the skin, which makes it suitable for sensitive skin too.
The product is supposed to instantly hydrate the skin and it does the job well. The lotion nourishes my skin for more than 8 hours, and considering that autumn has started and the chills are setting in, the duration is pretty good for me. I have pretty dry skin which I moisturize twice a day. With this lotion I just do it once and I am ready to go!
The product also claims to tone the skin but I haven’t noticed any toning effect on my skin. It does rejuvenate the skin as claimed. My skin feels radiant than usual and I feel that the skin texture has improved over time. The lotion could be a perfect autumn-winter body cream. The product also contains aloe vera and Shea butter, both of which are known for their moisturizing properties.
One of the best things I like about Dr Organic products is the fact that they are free from parabens, silicones, sulfates and colorants. So, the results last longer and are not just temporary. There is nothing negative about the product as such except that it is expensive and rose is not the main ingredient.
So, summing up:
