Dr. Organic Snail Gel Intensive Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask Review

Hello IMBBians,

There are many weird beauty treatments around the world. Some of you might cringe your nose and some would want to try them. One such treatment includes allowing snails to slither on your face so that they can leave a gel behind. This gel is known to regenerate the skin and make you look younger. I recently came across a snail gel mask and wanted to give it a try and today’s review is about Dr Organic Snail Gel Intensive Anti- Ageing Moisture Mask.

My Experience with Dr Organic Snail Gel Intensive Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask:

Dr Organic is a brand that is known to me by IMBB. I have been trying to incorporate organic products into my daily regime, and when I was reading so many good reviews, I wanted to buy a few products. While I was shopping, I came across the newly launched ‘Snail Gel‘ products by this brand. They were highly priced; this face mask was the only one which was decently priced. As it’s an anti-ageing and moisture mask, considering that it is winter and my skin gets dry, I picked this product up.

The mask comes in a 10ml sachet. The packaging is small and is a sachet packaging. It has all the information behind the tiny sachet. Even though it is very tiny and can hurt your eyes reading, I prefer you read it once to know all the benefits the mask provides. The mask sachet can also be carried in a bag if you are on-the-go. The mask is white and creamy in texture. It is semi-thick and similar to a day cream. The smell is ridiculous! It smells like phenol and is very strong. I am not sure if it is the derivatives or if they have added this but it smells too strong and is off-putting. This product contains snail gel. The gel that is produced by the snails is known for regenerating its shell when damaged and this point has been used for regenerating the cells on the face.

The company also claims that the snails weren’t harmed in the process and the secretions were collected. The mask is creamy and thus easy to spread and apply. I did read reviews of this product before and many had claimed that it caused reactions and thus I did a patch test before using it. I would recommend the same if you are trying. I was a bit scared as I saw pictures of women who had their faces complete red in color. I assume that the snail gel is not for everyone. I didn’t have any redness when I applied; but after I washed, I felt that my face was very warm like a sauna. I am sure that it is one of the side effects. But splashing some cold water made this issue go away.

My skin was very soft and supple. It was bouncy and had a texture so beautiful. My skin was very fresh and cleansed and had a pinkish healthy glow. I have been using this every week for 3 weeks now and I have noticed very great results on my skin. I recently had a pimple that I plucked out by mistake and within 2 weeks I have seen that the area where it was open is closing and there is no scar. I also have a young, healthy look on my skin. I am absolutely pleased with the product. But this can also have adverse effects, so these small sachets play a good role in trying before you buy the products from this range. So, summing up:
