I had recently purchased lip balms from Dr Organic. I have been in love with their lip balms, as they are so perfect in everything, and today’s review is all about Dr Organic Vitamin E Lip Balm. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Dr Organic Vitamin E Lip Balm:

The lip balm comes in a white-yellow combination package. There is a tamper seal between the cap and bottom and this one prevents from any tampering. There is very basic information on the lip balm. Dr Organic lip balms contain extra quantity than the traditional lip balms available and thus, they last a little longer. The twist cap is present on the top and the cap doesn’t close with a click. Thus, I feel it is not tight enough. There are chances that the cap could open if kept in a bag. However, the product looks travel-friendly. I usually carry it in my bag and till now there have been no issues.

The lip balm is a dark crimson yellow balm. The balm feels like it doesn’t have any odour. It smells very faint and is hardly noticeable. There is no flavor too and when applied, it is transparent and there is no color imparted on the lips.

Initially, the lip balm is very hard and it tugs the lips. And, this happens with all the lip balms from Dr Organic. I usually sweep the bullet several times on my hands, till it starts becoming smooth and once it remains smooth, it glides very well on the lips and doesn’t cause any issue. The lip balm is very lightweight on the lips. It does leave a greasy stain behind and you cannot use it, if you are topping up with a lipstick. The greasy base makes the lipstick to fade away faster. However, if applied at night, the lip balm nourishes the lips and by the morning, you easily wake up to smooth and moisturized lips.

The lip balms are waterproof and are enriched with SPF 15, which is a plus, but they do not survive meals or drinks and reapplication is needed. The transparent quality of the lip balms do not cover any pigmentation present. However, I have seen that the pigmentation has been reduced a lot, since I have been using Dr Organic lip balms. The lip balms provide intense nourishment to the lips. They make lips very soft and eliminates the dryness. Since I have been using the lip balm, I have hardly had any crack lips and my lips are very smooth and plump.

The product is free from any artificial colorants, sulfates or preservatives which is a big plus. I have no issues with the lip balm except that, the lip balm melts if it is in higher temperatures and if a little pressure is applied, the bullet sinks in. This could be more of a packaging issue, but it is annoying.
