I am so in love with blue colors these days. It’s really a cool color and mostly suits brown Indian eyes. :))
I tried this look for a party I attended on Sunday and wanted to share it as my first eye makeup tutorial with the IMBB girls here. I am still perfecting my eye make-up skills. So suggestions are welcomed. :nerd: :nerd:
This is what we will work on today. :yahoo: :yahoo:
Follow your CTM routine.
Apply your base-makeup. Foundation, concealer and loose powder.
My eyes after applying base.
Prime your eyes with a good eye primer. I am using MAC paintpot for this look.
I have also dusted some loose powder to make it smooth for eye shadow application.
Now take a metallic blue pencil liner and apply it all over lid (just few strokes will do).
I am using Revlon eyeliner pencil in Aqua Blue.
Now take a fluffy blending brush (I am using MAC 217) and dampen it with MAC fix+ (alternative Rose water) and blend the eyeliner nicely on the eyelids.
This is how it should look.
Now grab your favourite blue eye shadow. I am using NYX ocean. Pat this on the eyelids with a eye shadow brush (I have used MAC 239).
The eyelids would now look bright and bluey. 😛
Now take a black Kohl pencil (I’m using MAC smolder) and outline you upper lashline and waterline softly. This give more depth.
Use the same blue eyeliner we used on lids to define your lower lashline. I created a winged look for more drama. :yahoo:
Now use a darker blue eye shadow (I am using a blue eye shadow from VOV palette) and blend it in the outer V and crease using a blending brush (again MAC 217 for me).
This is how it looks.
Apply your highlighter shade on your brow bones (I have used a light blue tone matte eye shadow for highlight) and tear duct area and blend well.
Now grab your matte black eyeshadow (mine is again from same VOV palette) and apple it to the outer V using a pointed brush like MAC 219.
Blend it nicely with the blue color. We don’t want the black to be seen its just for creating depth.
Then apply a thin line of your favourite black fluid liner or gel liner on the upper lash line to define our eyes (I am using Avon liquid eyeliner) and a thin line of black kohl on the waterline just for depth. You can have it thick too. But I did not want the black to dominate my blues :-D.
Apply a thick coat of Mascara (Avon Super Extend Mascara) to complete the eye makeup. :victory:
For rest of the face-Apply a peachy pink blush (for me it is Maxfactor Miracle touch creamy blush in soft pink) and a soft pinkish nude lipstick or lipgloss. (I am wearing Ambika Pillai lite lipgloss Yum-Yum).
This is the finished look. I hope you like it. Please do rate and comment. :fingersxd:
And as I promised to Rati oops I mean Poutmati jee…… :jaiho: 😆
And now I shall get the :hunterwali: :hunterwali: if she does not like…… :suspense: :suspense:
