Drugstore L’Oréal and Maybelline Makeup Haul!

Today’s post is totally inspired by the recent haul post from Neetu. Since, I had hauled some newly-launched products from drugstore brands L’Oréal, Maybelline and Physician’s Formula, I decided to do a short post as well on the same.

Most of these products were launched in the late November/early December time frame to entice the holiday shoppers, I guess. And they did succeed in attracting me at least 😛 I decided to treat myself and picked some of these items in December during the holiday season. Of course, shopping is addictive and hence I was back in stores in early Jan when the Maybelline Color Tattoo crayons were out.

Liquid lipsticks have been around for a while, but I guess the trend is again picking up and the drugstore brands have surely caught on that trend. Revlon had launched their Ultra HD Matte Lip Color a while ago; I have already reviewed all the shades from this range on IMBB, and now Maybelline and L’Oréal have launched their Matte Liquid lip products too.

The Maybelline Vivid Matte liquid lipstick comes in 10 different colors. I picked up 6 shades – N*de Flush, Pink Charge, Electric Pink, Fuchsia Ecstasy, Orange Shot and Vivid Violet.

The L’Oreal Infallible Pro-matte gloss comes in 10 different colors as well. I picked up 9 shades; 3 are in common with Neetu and hence I am showing only the remaining 6 – Fuchsia Amnesia, Rebel Rose, Shanghai Scarlet, Forbidden Kiss, Rouge Envy and Statement N*de.

I have been wearing these for a few weeks now, but I will reserve my comments for my actual reviews. Both these ranges have some amazing shades, is there any shade which calls out your name?

The Maybelline Color Tattoo crayons is the newest launch from Maybelline. I initially thought they were the old Color Tattoo eyeshadows in a stick format, but closer inspection revealed that the crayon shades are different. There are 10 different shades and I picked up 8.

I am sure, all of you must be curious about the last item in my post. That cute little sky-blue cushion with those tiny pearls is the latest Cushion Foundation from Physician’s Formula. Originally started by Korean cosmetics, Cushion Foundation is also a trend which is really catching up amongst the drugstore brands.

L’Oréal launched the True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation and I have already reviewed it and now we have this addition from Physician’s Formula. While I will be posting a detailed review, one thing which I can tell you off the bat about this foundation is that it comes only in 3 shades – Light, Light-Medium, and Medium which is going to make it difficult for everyone to find their match. The L’Oréal Lumi Cushion Foundation on the other hand has a lot more variety at 12 shades. More on the formula in my detailed review.
