Remember in my post Curatio’s Triflow Hair Conditioner, I had mentioned my dermatologist had recommended a shampoo and a conditioner since I was suffering from more than usual hair fall. Today, I will be reviewing the same shampoo for you all, which is Ducray’s Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo.
Ducray line of products are manufactured by the very famous Pierre Fabre Dermo Cosmetique, France! Avene, Ducray, A-Derma all belong to the same Pierre Fabre group of cosmetics.
Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo contains a patented complex of tocopheryl and GP4G. This combination stimulates the scalp and supports the metabolism and the energy and supply of active ingredients to the hair roots. In addition, anaphase shampoo enriched with vitamin B5 (panthenol), B6 ??and biotin, and is ideal for strengthening of thin, fine and fragile hair. Due to the creamy consistency the shampooing also acts as a scalp massage with the blood flow to the hair roots is favored. The hair gets more vitality, strength and volume.
Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Coco-Glucoside, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Ceteareth-60 Myristyl Glycol, Artemia Extract, Biotin, Citric Acid, Parfum, Glycol Palmitate, Glycol Stearate, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Pyridoxine Hcl, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Propylparaben, Tocopheryl Nicotinate, CI 15985.
My Experience with Ducray Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo:
I was prescribed this shampoo by my dermatologist since my hair fall had increased and the roots had become loose! I used this shampoo along with Triflow conditioner regularly for a month. First of all, its not easy to find this shampoo in the local chemists shops. I could not find it anywhere and finally had to request my chemist to get it for me from somewhere! But this problem has now been resolved because its available online!
The shampoo comes in a standard white flip cap squeeze tube and contains 100 ml of product. The shampoo is pale white in color and has a very creamy texture. I wet my hair and then apply this shampoo all over the scalp and massage for 2 minutes. I let it stand for another 2 minutes for it to work on the scalp and then rinse off with lukewarm water. I then apply my Triflow hair conditioner.
The shampoo does work for me and I have seen reduction in hair fall, but beware, it does not work on its own. Along with this shampoo and triflow conditioner, I also followed the other medications given by my dermatologist, so I cannot guarantee that it will work on its own, but overall, I quite liked this shampoo as its mild and cleanses the hair extremely well! It does not lather much as the regular shampoos. It did not strip natural moisture from my hair and make them dry like other regular shampoos. Also, I find it to be quite expensive since I have waist length hair and this tube lasted me for only about 10 washes which is around 3 weeks!
It has a very mild fragrance which does not stay for long and will not irritate the ones with sensitive noses at all. Overall, I am planning to repurchase this one again once I am done with my current shampoo. Its a good shampoo if you are having severe hair fall and if you are undergoing a hair fall treatment. This shampoo will stimulate the hair roots and make your scalp ready to receive the hair fall treatment. Also, I trust dermatologist-recommended products for my hair as I am way too possessive about them 🙂
Rs. 360 for 100 ml
