Dussehra Eye Makeup Look

Dussehra Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello sweeties,

Earlier I was not at all an eye-shadow or a lipstick girl. IMBB has inspired me to improve in all the fields of beauty. I have seen a lot of eyeshadow tutorials here and always have been tempted to do some. Si here is a short tutorial from my side. I am not that good at this and you could say that I am just a beginner currently. There might be some mistakes as well but this is what a beginner tried to do lol. So let’s proceed.

Things you will need:
• Eye-shadow palette (I have used ULTA)
• Primer or concealer
• Compact or pressed powder
• Eyeshadow brushes
• Liquid or gel liner
• Mascara
• Cello-tape

things needed

Step1: Wash your eyes thoroughly . One more option is place cucumber or rose water pads before you do an eye make-up as it makes your eyes look very fresh and bright. This is what I normally do.

Step 2: Apply a concealer on the above and under the eye area to cover up the dark circles and even up the tone that would match your skin. I have used the chamber radiant touch-up concealer.

Step 3: Apply a base all over your eye lids. It should be a very light colour like cream or a little white. I have used a shade called silk and have put in the picture of the shade as well so that you can apply some colour similar to it.

Step 4: Then take a shade that is near to pink or maroon and apply it on the crease area with the help of an eyeshadow brush. I have used the shade called shy. You can create your own combination by using some different color with golden to match your outfit. Then after you are done with this part, take a cello-tape and cut a small piece and stick it like the way I have done in the picture. It should be continued upwards after the under eye area. The cello-tape is stuck because you have to create a winged eye look and the eyeshadows which I have fall-off a lot and you don’t want to ruin the under eye by accumalting all the eyeshadow fall out there.

Step 5: Now take a blackish grey shade, I have used the shade called galaxy and apply it to the outer V area of the eyes. The colour has to be darker towards the V shape of the eyes and extend the shade a bit to the crease. But let the shade be a little light on the crease or else the entire eye make-up would become very black. Now blend them perfectly. Clean out the flaked off eyeshadow.

step 5
Step 6: Now take gold or a copper colour of your choice and apply it towards the middle portion of the eyelids. Now blend all the 3 shades to create a perfect look. You can apply more of black colour at the edge but I wanted it to be soft so used only a little. Apply a highlighting shade to highlight the brow bone area.

step 6
Step 7: Now take your liner, I have used the Maybelline gel liner and apply it the way you want. I have created a small winged look and the easiest way is to extend the liner in the direction of the cello-tape and let it dry. Now remove the cello-tape so you have a clean under eye area. Now apply the liner to the waterline as well. Finally apply the mascara to your lashes or you can even put on your false lashes to create a more glamorous look, but my lashes are long and thick so I do not attach false lashes ever.

step 7
Final look: So girlies you are done. This is a very basic version of eye make-up and this is totally wearable right? Also you can shape your brows using a brow pencil or so but I don’t like that so I skipped that part.

Hope you guys liked it..!! Thank you
