Skin Type: Oily and occasionally acne-prone
Hello gorgeous ladies,
Being the makeup junkie that I am, I feel the constant need to try new makeup. Out of all the makeup items, I especially get drawn towards eye pencils. A typical Indian girl that I am proud to be! I honestly feel a girl can never have enough makeup, especially eye pencils since there are so many shades and brands in the market. So my attraction towards the ELF Mineral Eyeliner in Black is no surprise. Let’s get straight into the review.

Create definition that’s soft, natural and brilliant. The natural based formula provides gentle coverage for even the most sensitive eyes. The twist up applicator is easy for instant use, no sharpening required. All our mineral makeup are mineral-based with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes.
My Experience with e.l.f. Black Mineral Eye Liner:
The ELF Mineral Eyeliner in Black comes in a twist-up packaging. The sleek & slim look of this pencil is so nice and practical. This baby is a super slim mechanical eyeliner pencil that has a fine micro-tip point. It also comes in a white coloured outer packaging which has the details of the product on it. Isn’t is surprising that a brand like ELF which charges customers mere 3 dollars for an eye pencil is so high on the packaging their product. Kudos, ELF!
Texture & Pigmentation:
This liner has a soft and creamy gel liner like texture that glides amazingly smooth along the lash-line, like a dream – without any tugging or pulling! The pigmentation is a fairly black with a matte finish but it’s not super jet black. It doesn’t drag during application and applies quite easily. It’s super easy to work with this formula. The precise fine tip gives me the most precise eyeliner application.
This baby stays on the tightline and waterline for a good 6 hours without fading or smearing. If you have oily lids like mine, you should get on very well with this formula as it’ll likely wear quite well for you. On the eyelids this stays for longer. I usually use it for tightlining my upper and lower waterline and smudging with a black or brown eyeshadow.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase e.l.f. Black Mineral Eye Liner?
The overall quality of this pencil is quite good especially considering the price. It’s so creamy, well pigmented and long lasting. I highly recommend this black pencil to everyone if not being jet black does not bother you. If you are someone who uses only jet black shades when it comes to black eye liners then skip this for sure. But that’s not an issue for you, go grab this, ladies. At this price, this is surely unbeatable.
