Most of the drugstores carry only two shades of Elf Smudge Pots, so I bought two of these from their website. I had been eyeing these e.l.f. beauties for a while, but never bought them lest they turn out to be duds and end up in the pile of products I never use. There are several such pots by other brands, but either they are too expensive or are duds. Keep reading to know more about this one.

My Experience with e.l.f. Essential Wine Not Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow:
These paint pots are a very versatile; they can be used in various innovative ways depending upon the consumer. They can be used as an eyeshadow, eyeshadow base, as an eyeliner or an eye brightener, or maybe as a face highlighter (depending upon the shade). This product, in similar manner, can be used in several ways and just for $3 one gets to put one product to multiple uses.
Packaging: As the name suggests, smudge pot, product comes in a pot or rather a transparent, plastic jar with a white, opaque twist up cap. The walls of the pot are really thick; hence very less volume of the pot actually contains the product.
Texture: It is very creamy, but not as creamy as Maybelline Color Tattoos but still is a good competitor and can easily replace the latter; some say it is comparable to MAC Paint Pots. Since it is very creamy it is easy to apply on the lids, but it one wants a smokey look or a more blended look then one has to work faster since it settles within a matter of seconds and does not budge after that.
Color: Deep cherry – wine shade with gold-champagne undertones.
Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation! I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tips picked up. Two swipes are enough to get an intense eye look. It might be very creamy, but it works in favor since it does not crease and while applying it as an eyeliner, it does not smudge that easily.
Wear time: Entire day or rather 9 to 5 working hours. It is one of those products that do not require any primer to increase their wear time or intensify the look.
Conclusion: This is a very good product for the money paid. There are nine shades to choose from and are good competitors for other paint pots available in the market.
