e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette in Light Review

e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette in Light

Gurdeep Tak

Hi Girls,

I’m here with another product review, the product I will be reviewing today is a blush palette by e.l.f. from their Studio line. The thing about e.l.f. products is that they are usually a hit or miss situation, but it doesn’t really matter since they are even more affordable than most drugstore brands. After using the e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder for more than years and loving it, I placed another order from them. However, this time I picked up the e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette, which is just wow.

Website Description: This beautiful blush palette holds 4 gorgeous shades to mix and match throughout the year for a custom blended color. Great for contouring, shading, sculpting, and highlighting, these silky smooth blushes create a beautiful pigmented glow. With a mixture of complimentary matte and shimmer finishes, you can achieve a professional look every time.

Texture/ Pigmentation/Finish: I was a little skeptical that the texture of this product would be similar to the e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder, but to my surprise it was way better. It was actually the feel of something high quality and luxurious. All four of the blushes are tremendously butter smooth and highly pigmented. All four of the blushes are matte finish, but #4 contains bits of gold glitter in it nonetheless the shade still looks pretty matte when swatched. The e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette does not contain any names or numbers for their blush shades so I numbered then to describe them for this review. #1 is a medium pink, I’m not into pink blushes at the moment so maybe I will start liking it later. #2 is a light brown shade with a hint of burnt orange in it, this is my most favorite shade in the palette, because I can use it as a bronzer. #3 is medium rosy shade, in my opinion the smoothest in the palette. #4 is my second favorite shade in the palette, it is a beautiful coral-orange shade – beautiful for the summer. The best part about this palette is that people with different skin tones can use it.

Performance: I love this palette and I love all the shades in this palette. I love the pigmentation level in this palette, as I only need one dip and it is enough. I also love the fact that I can use this palette for a contour and a blush, so it becomes more convenient to carry it in your purse or apply it in a rush in your car. The website description is a bit deceiving. As it mentions that you can use this palette for highlighting, in my opinion, none of the shades are light enough to highlight with, unless you are on the darker skin range and can use #2 to highlight with. While I was taking pictures to review the e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette I noticed the weird back cover of it. I didn’t know that each of the four blushes can pop out of the palette. So I went online to their website to see if they have empty palettes to hold an individual blush, but they did not, I guess they made it like to interchange them with the other e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette in Dark.

Overall, I love this blush palette, it is small, it works perfectly, and is has a variation of shades to choose from. I am really looking forward to purchase the e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette in Dark, it would be great for the fall. I would recommend this product to everyone who wants to try it, because honestly it is made with perfection and thought. I was not expecting it to be so high quality.
