E.L.F. Studio Kabuki Face Brush Review

E.L.F. Studio Kabuki Face Brush

Hey there beautiful ladies!!

So I’m back with another review of an ELF product today. I love elf products; they are extremely value for money. Some of them are cheaper alternatives to expensive makeup and is great for college going girls like me. While some of their products might be a hit-or-miss for people, some products just stand out, and rival the best quality products there are. Today I am going to review one of these products – The ELF Studio Kabuki Face Brush.

ELF Kabuki Face Brush

$6 but you can get this too for half off during one of their usual sales. It’s always in the “Bestsellers” category.

Packaging:

It comes in a different packaging than the other brushes; in a small black box with a transparent front to see the brush inside. It resembles the packaging of the foundation. It’s pretty convenient to keep the brush in the box itself if you do not have a specific place to keep it somewhere. The box is a bit crushed due to travel but it’s still in good enough condition.

My take on E.L.F. Studio Kabuki Face Brush:

Now coming to the product finally, it is certainly one of the best products in the ELF Studio range. It truly deserves all the praise it gets and more. Firstly, I love the look of the brush. It’s a really cute little brush with a tiny black holder. I first thought it was too small, but then realized I preferred it over bigger sizes which were more difficult to hold and use. Then I really like the look of the fluffed-up two-toned bristles which slightly spread out but is still dense.

And coming to the bristles, they’re so soft; it’s like silk on your face! I’m not kidding! The brush is amazing quality. It picks up just the right amount of product, and you can use it with powders, blushes, bronzers, and people reportedly even use it for liquid foundation, although I wouldn’t recommend it (it would pick up too much product). I use it for powders and blushes, and it blends them beautifully, with just the amount of product so it doesn’t look over-the-top. Also, I don’t know if it’s because of the two-toned bristles, but everytime I use it, it seems clean even without washing (I still do wash of course). I have washed it quite a number of times by now, and it hasn’t shed even once. It’s unbelievable. I need to control the shine on my face, and use it with powder and it never looks cakey. If you’re still in doubt, don’t be. It’s amazing value for money.

Pros of ELF Kabuki Face Brush:

• Easy to apply, brush is of right size for holding
• Really soft, fine bristles, which are dense at the same time
• Picks up correct amount of product
• Doesn’t let powder look cakey.
• Doesn’t shed at all.
• Can be used with wet or dry products – powders, bronzers and blushes
• Great price!
• Vegan friendly

Cons of ELF Kabuki Face Brush:

• Not retractable, it would be more hygienic but you really can’t complain!

IMBB Rating – 4.8/5

I tried to think of some con, but couldn’t come up with anything, so I give it a 5. This brush is great quality, and probably better than more expensive brushes (I like it better than Bare Minerals) and that too at a fraction of the cost. I would definitely recommend, and would repurchase if I didn’t find a retractable one.
Take care until next time!
