Hey Girls,

Hope you all are doing great!

Finally, we have got some relief from the scorching heat of Delhi in the form of rains! It is such a lovely weather outside and I just don’t feel like getting out of my bed. I have a few products from ELF to review for you guys but my Internet had been giving me some trouble lately. Finally, my internet is back and I am here with a few reviews for you all.

Today, I am going to review a Pressed Mineral Blush from ELF in the shade Wanderlust. This is my first product from ELF. I  was impressed with their pricing and couldn’t stop myself from ordering some stuff. One of my friends was helpful enough to get it along while coming from New York. So let us get to the review.

My Experience with e.l.f. Studio Wanderlust Pressed Mineral Blush:

Packaging: The blush comes in a round plastic pot packaging black in color with a transparent lid. The transparent lid makes it easier to identify the color if you have more than one shade from this range. The name of the brand is printed on the lid in gold and the shade is mentioned on a sticker at the back.

The lid closes shut with a nice click making it easy to be carried around. However, the blush does not come with an inbuilt mirror or a brush , so you have to carry one while travelling. The outer box of the blush is white in color with all the necessary information printed on it. The best part about the plastic packaging is that it is recyclable.

Color, Texture and Pigmentation: Wanderlust is a beautiful mauve rose shade. It has very fine particles of golden shimmer milled in it, which are not visible on application, but give a mild shine.

The blush is powdery but not at all chalky. There is almost no fallout while application and it blends very easily. The texture is smooth and silky. The color is very rich and easily buildable. 2 swipes give enough color to the cheeks . This shade is very well pigmented.

Staying Power: Without a primer on the base, it stays for approximately 4 hours after which it starts to fade. Using a primer would increase the lasting power to 5-6 hours I believe. This I guess is pretty decent for the price I paid for the product.

  1. This is probably the shade I am most comfortable with as a blush. Even though there is no mirror, it is still a must have.
