My Experience with e.l.f. Twinkle Pink Blush:

The blush comes in a normal paper box with all the details. The actual blush comes in a very classy matte black box with a lid. A small mirror is also included in the packaging. The packaging looks so pretty and is easy to carry around. This range has so many shades options and I have the shade ‘Twinkle Pink’. It is a very light peachy pink shade with some chunky golden glitters in it. The shade looks so natural and fresh on the skin. This shade is not very pigmented and it doesn’t show up properly on my medium tanned skin tone. The blush looks sheer on my skin even if I apply many layers. This one is a highlighting blush for my skin tone; so, it provides a nice illuminated glow to my skin. Still, I would say, the chunky glitters look a little overpowering.

The blush has a soft and smooth texture that blends easily on the skin, but it feels a little powdery or chalky because of the glitters. Otherwise, the texture is soft and silky that provides a perfect velvety finish on the skin. It looks so natural and fresh. It feels very light and never feels dry on the skin. I prefer to use this blush as a highlighter to add a nice glow. It looks nice and gives a highlighted effect when applied on the highest points of my face. But the shimmers move from their place easily and spread all over my face. I really don’t like this part! The shade is too sheer and it transfers a lot from the face. The good part is that it never creases or settles into the fine lines. It doesn’t clog my pores either.

As a sheer blush, it can’t stay on for a long time on my face. I have oily skin and I sweat a lot; so, after a few hours, the blush starts to fade, leaving a subtle glow behind. It hardly stays for 2 hours on my face and then it leaves the shimmers on the face which look a little messy. I am not happy with its longevity. Overall – I am not a fan of glittery blushes, still this one is good for everyday highlighting. This blush doesn’t have a good staying power and it won’t flatter all skin tones. It is best only for fair skin tone as a blush. For my skin tone, it is an almost glittery highlighter that provides a nice, natural-looking glow. Wish it had better pigmentation!

Would I Repurchase/Recommend e.l.f. Twinkle Pink Blush?
No as it doesn’t show up on my skin tone. Honestly, you can find better pigmented and long-lasting blushes in this same shade. There is nothing special about this one.
