Look for Green Products
Go for organic products. These are not only better for your skin but are also made keeping nature in mind. Their packaging is minimal and recyclable.
DIY
Most of the beauty products come with a long list of products which could be harmful in the long run. Raid your kitchen and look for ingredients. There are some products that you can make by yourself like face masks, scrubs, cleansers, hair masks, toners, lip balms and what not!
Reuse and Recycle
Buy products that will be able to recycle and reuse. We all use razors. Choose a razor that allows you to change the blades instead of disposable razors. Disposable razors cost less but have a negative impact on the environment.
Eco-Friendly Cosmetic Tools
Use makeup brushes that are cruelty-free and crafted from sustainable materials like bamboo. They will work just as well.
Use Natural Shampoo
Instead of using shampoos and conditioners laden with toxic chemicals, you can use a simple Apple Cider Vinegar rinse. It will be good for your tresses and also for the environment. It will also save water. So it’s a win-win 🙂
Check the Ingredients
Beware of Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, formaldehyde or toluene in your beauty products. They are not only bad for your skin but also for the environment.
Finish your Products
Do not throw anything in the dustbin just because you got bored of it or because you have enough money to buy many more. Try to finish the products you purchased and recycle the containers and jars for some other use.

Really a good post Vandana.I am trying to use more of organic products these.And yes recycling and reusing is really necessary.I try to reuse the empty plastic bottles ,smaller ones to store lotion and shampoo for travelling and big ones to store detergents.
