1. Fenugreek (methi) Seeds

This is one of the most effective kitchen ingredients that helps curb hair fall. Soak methi seeds in water overnight. Make a paste and apply to your scalp and hair. Leave on for 30 minutes and then wash off as usual. You can also soak 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in 1 glass of water overnight. In the morning, consume the water along with the seeds in an empty stomach. Do this everyday for quick results.

2. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is best known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also known to enhance hair growth. Apply aloe vera gel or juice to your scalp. Leave it for about an hour and then rinse off. The aloe vera juice can also be consumed on an empty stomach to enhance hair growth. Plus, it has slimming properties too!

3. Hot Oil Massage + Turban Therapy

This works pretty much like any salon spa. Warm the required amount of oil and let it cool before you massage it gently onto the scalp and then through the lengths of your hair. Next, soak a towel in warm water. Wring-off the extra water and wrap the towel around your head. Keep it for 20-30 minutes. Rinse off with a mild shampoo.

4. Remedial Oil Blend

Though you can use any oil to massage your hair, here is a mixture to give you the maximum effects:
Coconut oil 40 ml
Castor oil 10 ml
Sesame oil 10 ml
Almond oil 40 ml
Vitamin E oil (from 3 vitamin E capsules)
Any essential oil (optional)
You can store this blend in an empty bottle and apply it twice a week. Leave overnight before you wash your hair.

5. Onion Juice

You obviously have heard about using onion juice for hair fall. In spite of being infamous for leaving behind a strong odor, onion juice is actually an amazing ingredient for reducing hair loss and treating baldness. Just grate an onion and apply the juice to your scalp and strands. Leave on for 30 minutes before you wash your hair.

6. Decoction

Make a decoction of curry leaves, neem leaves, hibiscus leaves and the juice of half a lemon with water. Add all the ingredients to about 1 litre of water and boil for 20-30 minutes. Let it cool and store it in an empty bottle. Apply this to your hair and scalp. Leave on for an hour and then wash off with a mild shampoo.

7. Concoction

Make a concoction using an egg, 2 tea spoons of amla (Indian gooseberry), shikakai (acacia concinna) and reetha (soap nut). Massage this to the scalp and through the lengths of the hair. Leave on for 30 minutes before washing your hair with a mild shampoo. Use this 2-3 times a week.

8. Hair Pack

Make a hair pack using yogurt, honey, lemon juice, olive oil and cinnamon powder. Apply and leave on for 20 minutes and then wash it off.

9. Apple Cider Vinegar

Another excellent ingredient for reducing hair fall and promoting hair growth is apple cider vinegar. Dilute it with some water and use this to rinse off your hair after washing your hair with a shampoo. You can then rinse off the apple cider vinegar with normal cold water. ACV helps to maintain the normal pH of the scalp and also helps to get rid of any microbes in the scalp or hair.

10. Liquorice Root

Add one tablespoon of ground liquorice root to one cup milk with a quarter teaspoon saffron and a pinch of turmeric. Apply it onto your hair and cover your hair with a shower cap. Leave on overnight. Rinse your scalp as usual in the morning. Do this twice a week.

Along with these remedies, remember to maintain a healthy diet and to do regular exercise or yoga. These will definitely get you amazing results if done regularly. Hope this helps!
