My Experience with Elemis Aromazing Shampoo:
I like this shampoo. It’s definitely not the best I have ever used, but it’s quite nice. Let me first describe the shampoo for you. It’s a clear, gel-based shampoo that lathers well. The aroma is absolutely mesmerizing! I suppose that’s why it has the name Aromazing. I’m not sure what the best way to describe the aroma is, but I think it is the fresh fruity-floral kind. It lingers in my hair for at least the entire day after I wash my hair. I absolutely love the aroma and that is one of the primary reasons why I use this shampoo as often as I do!
As a cleanser, this shampoo does a decent job. I don’t have an oily scalp or anything. My hair is normal, but leaning slightly on the dry side. This shampoo generates a good lather, cleanses my hair and scalp well, and keeps it clean for the next two to three days. While it isn’t harsh on my hair and scalp, I do find my hair to be a little dry after I wash it with this shampoo. But a good conditioner fixes that for me.
Lately, I have been pairing this shampoo with my Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Conditioner and it has given me fabulous results: tame, manageable, soft, shiny and healthy hair! Couldn’t have asked for more!
The full-size bottle (300 ml) is a translucent one (so that you can keep track of how much product you have left) and comes with a pump (which it makes it easy to use and travel-friendly). You also get refills on this shampoo, which is good.
Overall, I would say that this is a good shampoo with a great, long-lasting fragrance!
Pros of Elemis Aromazing Shampoo:
- Good cleanser for hair and scalp.
- Generates a good lather.
- Hair looks and feels soft, shiny and manageable after every wash.
- Great, great, great aroma (which will be hard for you to not like)!
- Well-designed and travel-friendly bottle.
- Refills available.
Cons of Elemis Aromazing Shampoo:
Can be a little drying so it has to be paired with a good conditioner.
- Contains SLS.
My Verdict on Elemis Aromazing Shampoo:
This is definitely not my HG shampoo. It is a good shampoo nonetheless. I think its aroma is the best part. Lately, it has given me good results: shiny, soft, healthy hair. But it can be a little drying so you must use a conditioner with it. However, this contains SLS. If you’re someone who likes to try out different shampoos, then you could give this one a shot.
