My Experience with Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules:

This Elemis Cellular Skin Bliss Capsules comes in a big frosted jar, the first impression that comes to my mind while looking at it, is that it is very clean and crisp! It has silver detailing and the lid is pure white. Inside the jar, there are two divisions made. One is for the pink capsules and the other is for the green capsules. The capsules are frosted pale pink and frosted pale green coloured. They seem very lush and it is definite that they belong to a luxurious high-end brand. As the instructions suggest, you have to twist these capsules open to release the product inside it. The product inside it, is basically an oil.

There are about 60 capsules that come in this jar and need to be used as directed on the back of the packaging. Now, let’s talk about the effects it has had on my skin. As you all know, my skin is really sensitive and so I was wary about using oil on my skin since I was sure that it would result in irritation. However, the lady at the salon, suggested I made use of this to get rid of my scars. I have used an oil by Clarins before as well and that too resulted in me breaking out, the complications of sensitive skin *sigh*. But I just went with the flow and finally purchased it. Now, the texture of the oils are not too heavy! They are lightweight and easily get absorbed into the skin, which was a relief because the oil from Clarins, just sat on my face and made me look really stupid. I applied both the capsules as instructed.

Pink Capsule:  It has a lovely fragrance, smells very floral and is calming to the senses. It has resulted in my pores being tightened and my skin feels extremely soft to touch. Also because you are meant to use this in the morning, because of its lightweight constancy, it will not result in any discomfort and application of makeup will also be smooth and you don’t have to worry about your makeup melting off with this oil.

Green Capsule:  This smells like lavender and since lavender is meant to relax the skin and flaring caused on it, I considered it to be promising and it surely lived up to my expectations. My skin felt really relaxed upon application, it also reduced any redness on my face, leaving me with a clearer complexion. Moreover, it has helped reduced my blemish marks marginally! Which is a great bonus!

In my opinion, I would only suggest using such oils during the winter. Otherwise, if you are living in hot climates, it might cause breakouts, because you might be at risk of clogged pores due to the humidity and oils are not what you must be applying then. Like if I was in Mumbai, I would be staying far way from this sort of a product.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with this product, I enjoy how I have not broken out *touchwood* and neither have I faced any irritation, instead it has soothed any irritation. However, I will suggest you not to wear this oil in areas of active breakouts.

Pros of Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules:

• Both the capsules have helped recover my blemishes and open pores.
• Have relatively softer and suppler skin to touch.
• They both have lovely fragrance to it.
• Makeup does not melt off, if you have applied this.
• The lavender helps soothe irritation.
• Great for the winters.

Cons of Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules:

• Cannot or rather should not be used in hot climates.
• Should not be used in instances of active breakouts.

Would I Repurchase Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules?

Next winters, I shall be purchasing it for sure.
