Today, I shall be reviewing for you all another great product by Elemis. It is called the Marine Day cream and was again suggested to me by my mother. I started using these Elemis products together and have been pretty pleased so far with the results.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is a revolutionary Anti-Ageing cream that uses the Marine extract Padina Pavonica to transform the complexion in just over 2 weeks*. Trials proved that the appearance in wrinkle depth was reduced by up to 78% and that hydration was increased by up to 45%.  Skin firmness and elasticity are dramatically increased, whilst providing superior free radical protection.

My Experience with Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream:

The packaging of this cream is rather gorgeous. It comes in a pretty large and relatively heavy, pink coloured tub. This pink tub, is their limited edition packaging for Breast Cancer awareness. The lid is made of steel and has a really interesting and intricate design made on the top. It definitely stands out as a product. Because it comes in a tub, I find it to be sort of unhygienic, but I always dip pristine clean fingers inside the tub. However, I strongly wished it came with a pump, since this cream is going directly on my face and I am extremely fussy in regards to it.

The cream itself is a lovely white one, which feels rather smooth and velvety on my face upon application. Due to its anti-ageing properties, I was a bit skeptical about it since I am way too young to make use of these sort of products, but I remember my dermatologist saying that once you cross 19, you are able to incorporate some of these properties into your skin care routine. So anyway, I thought that the cream would be pretty rich and dense for my face, because it also aims to target fine lines and wrinkles. However, I was stood corrected, it is so lightweight and like I said, glides really smoothly on my face. It also does not make my skin feel greasy or uncomfortable in any sense. It was easily absorbed by my skin, left no residue and left it feeling completely hydrated and supple to touch. I would say that it is the perfect cream for harsh weathers as well, since it is so effective for eradicating the dryness on my face. I use this cream in the night though, not during the day, since I make use of my Clarins HydraQuench Lotion in the mornings. I feel as though, using it in the night is more beneficial since it has more time to work into my skin. My mother uses it both times (morning and evenings) and says it’s perfect to apply underneath makeup as it provides a supple, soft and radiant base. So, go right ahead and incorporate it into your skin routine.  My skin also looks extremely radiant, dewy and truly glows cause of this wonder cream and I have faced no sort of breakouts due to its oil-free formula.

I am also rather highly fond of its fragrance, it reminds me of grapes. The fragrance is not too overpowering, but it’s enough to linger on for a while on your face. I consider it to be the perfect amount for face creams. It leaves you smelling completely fresh.  I basically am loving the effects this product has had on my skin.  My skin has started looking so gorgeous due to this amazing cream and moreover the packaging looks so pretty and cute in my bathroom! Loving it totally!

Cons of Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream:

• I find no cons for Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream: Anti-ageing, however, it is pretty expensive. However, I feel as though it does wonders to the skin and therefore worth the money. If you are still unsure, you might want to ask for a sample at the counter before splurging so much money.

Would I Repurchase Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream?

This is my mother’s Holy Grail cream, so I find it in abundance at home. She keeps repurchasing this and I make use of it (thanks mom!).

Would I Recommend Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream?

Well, in my opinion, using this cream has been a great experience. It truly has left my skin feeling rejuvenated and glowing! It truly is worth indulging yourself into! So if you want a cream that totally works towards reinventing your skin, do try it, its definitely worth the price you pay for.
