ELF Blush with Brush – Shy Review

ELF Blush with Brush – Shy Review

After lipsticks, blushes are my top favourite and I am never ever tired of collecting them. This time, I tried my hands on a pink matte ELF blush – the shade is called “Shy.” Let’s find out whether it’s a hit or a miss.

My Experience with ELF Blush with Brush –  Shy:

Packaging: It’s a simple packaging. The pan has a small brush compartment, underneath is a small mirror for touch-ups.

Texture: The texture is smooth and finely milled, but well compacted as I haven’t noticed any fallout in the pan. The brush blends easily with a few strokes/

Colour/Pigmentation/Finish:  The color of this pretty blush is matte baby pink. Pigmentation wise, it might disappoint you because it takes some effort for the color to show up on the cheeks.  Once you start blending, it feels like you need a little more product and so on. It settles with a matte finish and a totally natural look.

Longevity:  The brush lasts on my cheeks for four hours, which is not bad at this price, consider that the shade is light too. It doesn’t sink in pores or enhance dry patches.

Brush:

The brush is honestly useless. You can tell that just by looking at the clicks.  It’s not good for application nor can it ever blend the product. In fact, if you try to use it in touch-ups, it might end with streaks on your cheeks.  So always carry your own blush brush if you are travelling. The shade will precisely suit fair skin tones.
