ELF Bronzer Palette – Bronze Beauty Review

Skin Type: Oily and occasionally acne-prone
Skin Tone: Fair with warm undertones

Hello gorgeous ladies

When it comes to eyeshadows or any face powders, I definitely prefer palettes over single products as they’re travel friendly, they can be multi-used, and it is convenient to switch shades and they aren’t missed or forgotten to be used like singles! So, when I saw this awesome bronzer palette by ELF, I was pretty excited and picked it up immediately. I already have two blush palettes and enjoy them a lot.

My Experience with ELF Bronzer Palette – Bronze Beauty:

Packaging: The packaging of this bronzer palette is the same as the ELF Blush Palettes. The palettes are housed in the same type of compact, sturdy black compacts with four pans. These pans can be easily popped out and rearranged to customise your needs if you have the blush palettes. It also has a huge full-sized mirror, which is always welcome.

Color: As you can see in the images, this bronzer palette contains 4 gorgeous shades. There are two matte colours and two slightly shimmery-satin shades. The different shades come in handy for different purposes in sculpting and warming up your face. The two matte shades are both cool toned out of which one is a light camel shade and the other one is like a medium tan shade. The shimmery shades are beautiful caramel-y shades. I would prefer at least one shade to be a warm-toned bronzer.

Pigmentation: In my opinion, this palette is fairly pigmented for light to medium skin tones. I am not too sure how this will work for beauties with richer complexions, but the colours show up really well on my skin, in just one swipe. The pigmentation is buildable and can be used with a light hand for a more natural look and can also be used for proper contouring.

Texture: The texture of the powders in this palette is really soft and not very powdery. The contour brush/blush brush picks up the right amount of product to give the skin a sun-kissed look. Since the powders are soft and creamy, there is hardly any fallout, which I really like. Also, the colors blend really well into the skin and give a smooth finish as opposed to some contour powders that look patchy or ashy on the skin.

Longevity: I would consider this bronzer to be of medium longevity as it starts to fade away evenly after 6 hours approximately. Not that I would like it to stay for more than that time period, but I do have bronzers that do not fade away until I decide to take it off. That being said, the wear time can be increased by using a primer and a setting spray.

I highly recommend this contour palette to everyone, whether you are new to contouring and bronzing or a pro. This is a super affordable palette and can used for many different makeup related purposes. Also, if you have the blush palettes and the glow palette, you can mix and match the shades as per your liking and create your own palette. I am eyeing the glow palette and will grab it as soon as I can find it.
