Hello gorgeous ladies,
Liquid pen-style liner is my staple for everyday makeup, whether it’s a basic look or a dramatic look. So, I feel the constant need to try new eyeliners. My most favourites so far are Kat Von D Tattoo and NYX Liquid liners, but there is a new member of my makeup family which has become my latest favourite. The product I will be reviewing today is the ELF Intense Ink Eyeliner in “Charcoal,” which is quite a recent launch by ELF. Let’s see the details of this awesome liner.
CAD 3 (approximatley INR 160).
My Experience with ELF Charcoal Intense Ink Eyeliner:
Packaging: The ELF Intense Ink Eyeliner in Charcoal comes in a thick tube and an easy-to-carry packaging. The body is jet black in color with the brand and product details printed on the tube. It comes with a cap that closes with a click. The tip of the liner is a very precise fine tip which makes application effortless. Neither is it extremely flexible nor is it very hard to move. It’s just perfect, which is why, you can go for a regular liner, a winged liner, a super dramatic liner or even a cat flick.
Colour and Pigmentation: The colour of this eyeliner is quite interesting and different from the regular black eyeliner but still very wearable. The shade is called “Charcoal,” but I think the color that shows up on the skin is more like a blackish-brown shade. The pigmentation of the liner is on point!! It’s nicely pigmented and delivers full colour payoff in a couple of swipes.
Texture: The texture of this eyeliner is very smooth and does not tug or pull the eye area whatsoever. It’s not a matte finish liner and has a somewhat glossy finish to it. I do like the finish of this eyeliner when worn with a matte eye pencil on the lower lash line.
Longevity: In terms of longevity, it holds true to its claim, and stays on the eyelids for about 7-8 hours without fading or wearing away. If you do not have the habit of rubbing your eyes too much, this stays put until the end of the day until removed with a makeup remover. Honestly, I have no complaints regarding the wear time of this eyeliner.
Quality: The quality of the product is just great and at the price point that it is offered, it’s unbeatable. It works better than some eyeliners at the drugstore and last long. It is a nice way to give the eyes a change than the regular black eyeliner, without looking very over the top.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase ELF Charcoal Intense Ink Eyeliner?
I would be honest and say that this is a great eyeliner but not my holy grail. At this price, it does its job more than I could expect and delivers good color payoff throughout the day. I am pretty impressed and would recommend this liner to everyone.
