How To Use:
Use the sponge tip to smudge any harsh lines for a smoky effect or to sweep highlighter on the brow bone and inner eye corners.
My Experience with ELF Essentials Smudge Eye Sponge:
So, basically this is a classic sponge tip brush to smoke out any kajal or liner pencil. This can also be used to apply dry powder kohl. The brush can also smoke out the lower lash line kohl. Personally, I don’t wear kajal as my eyes look way smaller than otherwise. This is perfect for me to smudge any liner. If you wear very deep black liner, this brush can soften the look in no time. Also, you can smudge kajal line on the lower lashes.
This has a nice enough tip to do the job; it is neither too wobbly nor too stiff. It does the job with precision. Personally, I can use it for inner corner highlight, brow bone highlight, also to highlight cupid’s bow.
You can buy multiple such sponges to apply kajal and highlight, I find this one very handy. The wooden body is very pretty and pristine white so far. I just swirl it on to makeup remover on a cotton pad to clean it. The body of this brush speaks much more than a dollar product. Overall, a very handy sponge to own for a lot of uses.
