Hello gorgeous ladies,
Today, I am going to review a product that has become an instant favorite and a permanent member of my skin care stash! Yes, it the ELF Studio Eye Refresh which has not been talked about much in the beauty world. So, let’s jump into the review now 🙂
CAD 4 (approximately INR 210).
My Experience with ELF Eye Refresh:
No matter how many eye creams we might have tried, a little something that acts as a “pick-me-up” for the eyes is a must, in my opinion. There are days when we just need to refresh the eye area and provide some cooling to calm down the puffiness. Thankfully, puffiness is not my major concern, but I still decided to try this baby out to refresh my eyes and boy, I was right! I did not swatch this product as the consistency is clear and sort of watery, so nothing would show up on the skin. The swatch would have been like dipping your finger in water and swatching.
The ELF Studio Eye Refresh is a nice compact tube made of silvery shiny plastic that looks like metal. Since the applicator is made of metal, the cooling sensation of the Eye Refresh roller-ball brightens and refreshes the eye area to help alleviate under-eye puffiness and dark circles. It is infused with interesting ingredients like Pomegranate, Rosemary, Green Tea, Cucumber and Grape to hydrate and nourish the delicate skin around your eyes. It is perfect for travel when you need an “on-the-spot treatment” to awaken the under eye skin throughout the day.
The scent of this product is pretty negligible as it doesn’t smell like anything vividly. In fact, the scent is so weak that it won’t bother anyone who is sensitive to strong fragrances. This product provides an immediate cooling sensation when applied to the skin. I’m pretty sure it’s because of the metal roller but the product in the tube could be refreshing too, adding to the freshness quotient that this product provides. Since the product is as wet as water, it does take a couple minutes to sink into the skin and calm down the skin.
I use it every day, and especially when I don’t get a good night’s sleep. I have noticed that it does reduce puffiness around my eyes a bit, but does nothing for my mild dark circles. Not that it’s supposed to be a miracle product for the dark circles, and I am not expecting it to do so anyway. I find that it is also slightly moisturizing, though it wouldn’t replace an eye cream.
I have been using the Eye Refresh every day, non-stop, since a month and I still have product left in my tube. I use it especially when my eyes have been feeling extra tired or puffy. The metal tip applicator feels nice and cool during application and when rolling on the skin, the product transfers on to the skin effortlessly. Overall, I am quite impressed with this baby and I plan to repurchase this whenever I run out of it.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase ELF Eye Refresh?
Hell yes!! If you are not convinced to try this out after reading this, I don’t know what will convince you! Trust me ladies, do give this baby a try as it is a great product that comes in handy when you need to perk up the under-eye area. This baby is like the “unsung hero” kind of product from the drugstore which sure deserves much more recognition and love. This product has become a permanent member in my skin care stash and I shall keep repurchasing this till ELF keeps manufacturing it!
