Hello gals..
Today I am going to review my first set of false eyelashes..and these are from e.l.f called ” e.l.f Hollywood False Eyelashes”
( Note – This is going to be a picture heavy post, I’d let the pictures do most of talking πŸ™‚ )

I thought this would be a great buy as it came with a lash stand and lash applicator.

Product Description :

Price :
$3

Kit Includes :

Eyelash Glue Ingredients :

5 -Eyelash Glue Ingredients

Application Directions :

Now this is where I thought that the lash applicator would be of help to me, but the lash applicator has a soft rubber like material at the tip which makes it a little difficult for me to apply false lashes. The lashes stick a bit to it and then when you try to lift the applicator after fixing the false eyelashes the lash applicator doesn’t come of with ease.

The glue provided in the kit is sheer waste.. it doesn’t stick too well. When I used this glue the eyelashes did not set well and started coming off the corner of the eye πŸ™

How to Remove the false eyelashes :
They can be easiy peeled off your natural lash line and the glue was so pathetic that I didn’t even feel the need to use warm damp towel to take this off.

and this is how it looks on me….

In the 3rd picture you can notice that the lash has come off the inner corner. Infact the glue is so bad that it did not stick well in the inner corner.

Summing it up :
These are extremely long, and dramatic eyelashes. I can’t think of any occassion where I would be able to wear these lashes. They would look overboard and so unnatural. These lashes feel very plasticky and cheap.
I haven’t been able to use the lash applicator in a proper way yet. It just helps when I have to apply the l sh glue to the lashes.
Lash stand can be used to place the lashes after washing them. They help maintain the shape of the lashes and doesn’t make them straiht after wash.

Rating :
Poor quality

Will I Repurchase this :
No never, infact I am planning to trim the length of these lashes to make them more wearable.

Do I recommend this :
No, not even if this is inexpensive as their are tons of good false lashes you would find in the market.

  1. m sorry to say but these lashes are not at all suiting your eyes, infact u are looking way better widout them…these do look a bit tacky and very unnnatural. I tried false lashes once and they made me look like a drag queen !!!! I make it a point to stay miles away from them , even if someone gives it to for Free.

    1. yep these look tacky and unnatural, however, if you find the right pair they look amazing. I have seen false lashes from other brands and some of them look really good and natural.

These look too fake and tacky πŸ™

  2. These are so dramatic that they might just look good for a magazine shoot….
I have never tried false eyelashes, though i want to give them one shot after seeing Barfi, and the pretty new actress in it wearing false eyelashes.
Has anyone tried falsies from MAC??

    1. Swati ya these are more of photo shoot lashes, however, the shape too is a lil weird so I will have to trim them now.. πŸ™

      Never tried MAC..

Oh and I totally want to watch Barfi πŸ™‚

  3. These lashes look fake.. u can try the one’s from Konad. (The one’s Neha reviewed..) They look pretty and natural. Personally i am scared to wear falsies as i keep imagining them peeling off in the middle of a conversation.. πŸ˜› πŸ˜› i am not at all confident..

    1. hahahaha I was a bit scared of false lashes too.. I used to think I’d peel off my natural lashes too.. :P:P

      I will definitely check Konad..
      Thanks Raji πŸ™‚
