I have started using eyes creams of late because I don’t like doing damage control when situation goes out of hand – a stitch in time is better than nine. I don’t want to wait till dark circles or fine lines become more apparent and then buy some expensive eye cream to combat them. I bought this product because it’s packaging looked sophisticated and ingredient list was fascinating. Read on further to know more about this eye cream.

My Experience with ELF Illuminating Eye Cream:
This product claims to hydrate sensitive skin around the eyes and eventually reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. It also contains a lot of beneficial ingredients such as Jojoba oil, Vitamin E oil and cucumber extract, which are panaceas for all our skin-related issues.
Packaging: This eye cream comes in a sea green color jar with a twist-up lid. It is made up of thick plastic and not prone to breakage if mishandled. The jar seems to contain a lot of product, but only a small volume of jar actually contains the product.
Texture: The cream looks like a regular moisturizer, however, it is easier to blend compared other thicker consistency creams which tend to leave an oily residue behind. I would dare not use it on the rest of my face because of the excessive of oils present in it but that feature is perfect to fight wrinkles.
How To Use: Use morning and night after thoroughly cleansing face and then other skin care products and makeup can be layered on top of it. With ring finger, gently dab around the under eye, outward to the temples, and along the brow bone to illuminate tired eyes. I let it sit on my eyes for a few minutes before I wear any makeup and if I see excessive of oil on my lids then I gently dab it off with tissue.
Efficacy: I did notice an obvious change in the topography of my under eye skin; especially after I applied makeup, there was less appearance of fine lines under my eyes where my makeup tends to break most often. I wear it twice a day and in less than a week, I have noticed a faint lightening of my dark circles and I am hopeful that it will continue to work so in near future as well.

Yes, because it did a good job as an eye cream and is very easy on my pocket. It has lightened my under eye area in a matter of few days and I am hopeful that it will reduce appearance of fine lines as well. I recommend it to the readers so that even they can enjoy the efficacy of this product.
