This time I went ELF shopping and got some of their products. I am going to review all those in some time. Today, I am going to review their new lip gloss stick. Whenever I see some new items at a makeup counter, I get tempted and end up buying a lot of stuff. That’s how this product came to me.

My Experience with ELF Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick – Pink Umbrellas:
My love for pink is eternal, pink never leaves me, maybe I never leave pink. When I saw these lip glosses, the cool pink shade caught my attention. I picked up this shade with a cute pink tone to it. It has a creamy texture that glides on well on the lips and its hydrating. Pink Umbrellas is a nice light pink shade. The stick reminds me of crayons that I used way back as a child. Packaging is also cute and its an easy to use stick. For two dollars, I would say the color pay off is good. It’s a sheer color without shimmer.
Pigmentation is okay as I have to apply several coats to get a proper look and nice color. During first coat, it gets settled into the fine lines, but later on, when I use a brush and apply several coats, it settles well. It has a mint flavor to it, its mild though. Staying power is 1 to 1-1/2 hours only, but I did not expect much from this one.
Pros of ELF Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick – Pink Umbrellas:
- Nice packaging.
- Comes at an awesome price, just $2.
- Cute pink shade.
- Applies smoothly.
- No shimmer.
- Creamy texture.
Cons of ELF Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick – Pink Umbrellas:
When applied on chapped lips, it shows even more by settling into lines and cracks, so we have to be careful while applying.
- Many may not like the mint flavor.
- Contain parabens.
It’s a cost friendly lip gloss which can give colorful lips with smooth finish. Those who don’t want to go for Revlon lip stain balms, can try this. Not that it is the exact replica but they are comparable. It doesn’t give the long lasting effect but gives a good colour to the lips and for $2, this product is worth a try.
