I sure am enjoying my day with not much work at office and getting time to stay on IMBB for long. I have been really getting obsessed with eye shadows lately. They just add so much color and life to your face. I have purchased few of them recently and will review one by one for you.
So today I am going to review an eyeshadow from ELF called the ELF Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Toast. I am totally in love with ELF due to the affordability and the quality they provide! I really wish they come to India one day!

My Take on the ELF Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Toast:
ELF long-lasting lustrous eyeshadow range comes in 7 beautiful shades. The one I am reviewing is a beautiful shimmering gold color. It is not very bright but looks really glamorous on the eyes! It has a lot of shimmer in it which adds to the beauty of the color. It comes packed in a cute transparent plastic pot with black screwable lid. It is really cute and travel friendly.
The eyeshadow has a fluffy and spongy feel to it. It can be described as an airy mousse! The best way to apply it is using your fingers. I tried using a brush but the brush doesn’t pick up the color very well. It can be spread easily and is quite buildable. You can layer it to increase the intensity of the color. It does not crease on my oily lids even after layering.
This color can be used as a standalone shadow or as a base of some other eyeshadow color (may it be matte or shimmery). This color is perfect for party wear and festivities. There is very less fallout while application.
Now the best part is its staying power. This eyeshadow lasts for 6-7 hours without fading or creasing when applied without a primer. With the primer, it lasts the whole day! Isn’t it just amazing for the price you pay?

It is a beautiful gold color that I would love to buy if I run out of it. If you are a matte lover, then this eyeshadow is not for you. But If you like playing around with glitter and shimmer, then don’t miss it. I would love to try other shades of this range as well!
