After completely loving the Cheerful Cheery, the second and the last in my stash from the ELF Mineral Lipstick is the shade Barely Bitten. My take on ELF Mineral Lipstick – Barely Bitten:
Packaging: Inside the white card-box is a completely matte black lipstick, with square edged design. The cap snaps shut tight, making it travel friendly.
Texture and finish: The lipstick is not extremely creamy in texture, but quite moisturizing for lips. It doesn’t feel drying on lips even after hours of application though I am badly suffering from chapped lips nowadays. It doesn’t settle into fine lines, creases or feathers. It doesn’t bleed too even without a lipliner. It has no fragrance at all. The finish is a bit glossy finish with noticeable sheen. The sheen is due to the tiny sparkles in the lipstick, which are barely visible but add a preety sheen to the lips.
Colour and pigmentation: The shade barely bitten is a reddish pink shade (I am very bad at describing colors). I have tried my best to capture the shade in the cam but still it seems a little different on the swatch and on the lips.It turned out to be full coverage lipstick. Rich in pigmentation, one swipe deposits enough color to cover the lips. The opacity of the lipstick will cover the lip pigmentation.
Longevity and transferability: The staying power is 4 hours with little water/tea sips and vanishes the moment you take a meal. Adding a lipliner definitely adds longevity to the wearing time. It fades evenly without leaving any stain. The lipstick is transferable.
