Directions
Gently remove lash from tray. Pierce the top of the adhesive tube and apply a thin amount of glue along the entire length of the lash strip. Allow glue to sit until tacky, then place lashes as close to the baseline of your own lashes as possible, working from the center out. Hold the lash in place for a few seconds until the lash strip has a chance to hold. Apply mascara if desired.

When a friend of mine got me loads of makeup from US- I had ordered the simplest pair of falsies- these elf natural lash kit was with them. Then one fine day I gathered courage to wear them for an EOTD on IMBB and I saw what a difference they could make to an appearance. I realized falsies are so mess free, reusable and no issues with removal of mascara and then losing some of your eyelashes. So I thought, If I do wear makeup then I can perhaps skip the mascara and wear very natural lashes like these perhaps for night wear. That’s another story that I have worn falsies just once or twice when I have venrtured out for a dinner or something. But still I am enjoying them thoroughly for my eye shadow reviews on IMBB, and I am still discovering about them.

So these are my very first pair of lashes and I really like them. I went ahead and bought one from inglot (reviewed) basicare, kryolan and some from konad (reviewed) but then these have a very natural charm to them.

The lashes feel somewhere between soft hair and plastic and they are very well made for that they have some longer and some abrupt shorter hair which makes them look quite natural for me. Again, the length is very comfortable, no curves reaching the eyebrows, and just very natural length.

These also come with adhesive gel in a vial like thing with a stick inside like perfume vials to apply. Now I quite like the transparent gel but it has a very short life. The gel is stretchy and when it dries it dries transparent. We are supposed to wait for a few seconds until it becomes tacky and stretchy and then stick the lashes on. I also realize that since the glue is clear, it does not leave irritating residue on the lash line after removal. It has dried up now after 8 months and I have to use my other konad glues with this, and its time to buy my mac or inglot adhesive to go with all my lashes.

They are called natural looking lush lashes which I thnk is true. Infact, I find that the lashes from elf do not look bad and can be wearable for some occasion or the other. I don’t know when and how I can buy more of these falsies from elf but I simply cannot believe they costed me $1!

The lash band feels slim to use too. I think even beginner like me can use it and hence I am reviewing it. the removal is easy as well. The glue can be scraped off easily and lesser residue on the eyes as well.i have used them upto five times or more when I try to use some new eyeshadows and review them and still the lashes seem ready for more.

So over all I had a nice first experience with them and I am hoping to get some more when I get a chance. I do recommend these to everyone who wants to ever try falsies on since they can be used multiple time, and are hassle free and cost just a dollar. The lashes in the pic seem to be flying else where, I must have been in a hurry but the gel does a decent job otherwise at sticking them.

Last word:
I like them for the way they look, even for day wear. For everyone like me who hates the process of mascara removal especially the waterproof ones, I recommend falsies for some occasion or the other. I’m going to review two more easily avaiblae in India.
