Hello gorgeous ladies,
I did a huge ELF haul a few days ago and got my hands on some products that I always wanted to try from the brand. Today I will be reviewing one such product which is new to the ELF line of lip products. It’s the ELF Lip Tint in Pretty Pink Please. Let’s have a look.
Price: CAD 5 (Approx. INR 260)
My Experience with ELF Pretty Pink Please Lip Tint:
Packaging: This lip tint comes in a tiny pretty tube with a glossy metallic silver cap. It looks quite stylish. The body of the tube is opaque but colour coded to the shade of the lip tint, making it easy to identify in the makeup stash. The packaging is really travel friendly, yet practical. The plastic tip applicator is slightly slanted, providing ease of application. The lip tint squirts out of the opening on the plastic tip applicator and one can control the amount that needs to be dispensed.
Colour: The shade “Pretty Pink Please” is a super gorgeous pink shade with coral undertones. This tint does not contain any shimmers. It is a wearable colour and would suit most Indian skin tones. This lip gloss can be worn on its own or over a lip pencil or lipstick to add a beautiful shine to your pout.
Pigmentation: This is surely a pigmented gloss-tint which adds a full colour pay-off and shine when worn on its own. When topped over a lipstick, it gives a high-shine finish that looks absolutely gorgeous. When worn over a lip pencil, it makes the lips look fuller and plumper.
Texture: The texture of this gloss is super glossy and more like a thick creamy syrup. It is pretty light in texture and does not feel super sticky. It has the correct amount of stickiness for it to last long on the lips and yet not irritate them. It is creamy and quite moisturizing and even if you have extremely dry lips, you need not apply any lip balm underneath.
Longevity: The staying power of this lip gloss is average. It adheres to the lips and stays put for a good 3-4 hours. Since it is a gloss, it does transfer a bit and loses its shine with some snacking. Overall, I would not complain about this feature considering this is a creamy lip tint.
Pros of ELF Pretty Pink Please Lip Tint:
• Sturdy and cute packaging.
• Beautiful pink shade with slight coral undertones.
• Tiny lip tint easy to carry around.
• Very hydrating on the lips.
• Very comfortable on the lips.
• Beautiful shade selection.
• Awesome pigmentation.
• The perfect amount of shine.
• Easily available online and in stores.
Cons of ELF Pretty Pink Please Lip Tint:
• Not very long lasting.
• Not available in India.
IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
Will I Recommend/Repurchase ELF Pretty Pink Please Lip Tint?
Oh sure! I would recommend these to anyone who loves opaque lip glosses with full colour pay-off and super shine. Also, girls who prefer lip glosses over lipsticks should definitely get this one. At this price point, the quality of these glosses is unbeatable! The best part about this product is the cute little tube packaging which makes it my first choice to carry in the purse for touch ups on the go! Go for it ladies, for 5 bucks it’s really a deal!
