ELF Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion Review

ELF Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion Review

How are you doing today? I am back with a review on yet another ELF Studio Blush in the shade “Fuchsia Fusion.” I have already reviewed ELF studio blushes in the shades Blushing Rose, Berry Merry, Mellow Mauve. All three of them are my favorites. Will Fuchsia Fusion join their club ? Let’s see 🙂

ELF Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion Review

Product Description From ELF:

The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow.

Price:

3$ for 4.75 gm.

ELF studio Blushes are available in 11 shades now. As usual, the swatches on the website are nowhere near the actual shade. I searched for the swatches on the internet before buying it online.

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica, Nylon-12, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Paraffinium Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Polybutene, Sodium Dehydroacetate.

My Experience with ELF Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion:

ELF is a brand that provides cosmetics for very affordable price. Quality of some will be good, while other don’t meet the expectation. They make cosmetics in 3 different lines.

  • Essentials.
  • Studio.
  • Mineral.

Studio line is well known for its good quality products, especially the ELF Studio Blushes are the favorites within the beauty community. I have 6 of them. In that, “Fuchsia Fusion” is the only pink shade blush.

Fuchsia Fusion

Fuchsia Fusion is not a fuchsia pink as the name suggests. It is a bubblegum pink shade with lots of obvious looking silver shimmer in it.

It is more powdery than the other blushes that I have reviewed before and chalky as well. One has to tap off the excess product from the brush before applying it on the cheeks to reduce the amount of glitter.

Pigmentation is decent. It needs more effort to blend the blush or else the shimmer will look more obvious. I have to start with very less product and build it on later if needed. It gives a pink flush to the cheeks.  It would have been nice without the shimmer.

Fuchsia Fusion

It is definitely not a day blush, will look nice for special occasions and parties provided you like the shimmery look. It would have been better if it had less shimmer or no shimmer.

Pros of ELF Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion:

  • Very affordable.
  • Sleek packaging.
  • Good for special occasions.

Cons of ELF Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion:

  • Obvious glitter in the blush.
  • Powdery and chalky, thus there is a lot of fallout.
  • Way too shimmery for my liking.
  • Needs more effort to blend the blush.

Final Word:

If you are a shimmer person, then you can give this a try.  Else stay away from this 🙂
