ELF Studio Cream Blush in Seductress
Hey there!

Like I have stated before, despite being tan there are some days I just look exceedingly grey and sallow. No amount of lipstick or eyeliner (my makeup staples) can combat the paleness. It’s for days like these that I prefer to use a pigmented blush as well.
The product I am going to review is one of the most fuss free blushes that I have ever had the fortune to purchase.

Packaging
The packaging is akin to a supersized version e.l.f. Gel Eyeliner. It’s a huge plastic tub of product, with a white stopper lid and matte black lid. Both the stopper lid and tub lid close very tightly, a requisite for cream to powder products.
Being very sturdy, it can be a dropped a bazillion times without any damage. It’s very travel friendly, even if it may be unnecessarily bulky. It doesn’t come with any applicator so for a perfect flush of colour purchase the e.l.f. Studio Small Stippling Brush or Kabuki brush, like I have.
My take on ELF Studio Cream Blush in Seductress:
The colour of this blush can be described as a very pigmented reddish-pink, which may look garish on lighter toned people if it isn’t blended properly. It is very pigmented so it needs to be applied with care. There are two ways to apply this blush:
> With your fingers
Dip your finger into the tub and quickly dot your cheekbone and blend. Your body heat should help in blending.
The problem with this method is that if you have long nails like I do, there will be unnecessary product wastage. If you look at the pictures carefully, you’ll see my nail marks on it. :’(
> With a brush
Dip your brush (I use either the e.l.f. Kabuki or Stipple Brush) in the product and quickly blend it along your cheekbone for a beautiful diffused colour. You can layer the colour for more intensity.
While this blush is marketed as a cream blush, it isn’t so. It’s texture is very sponge-y, more like a mousse rather than a cream. But nevertheless, it dries into a powder matte finish which helps in making it last. On my combination skin, it easily lasts for 4-5 hours with no noticeable fading. Seeing as it’s a matte blush it makes a perfect everyday blush.
It is also very versatile and can be used as a beautiful lip colour, but a lot of product is needed for it to show up properly on pigmented lips.
While I am sure that all the colours offered are very beautiful, it would be best to look for the swatches of this product before ordering. On the website, this colour is pictured as a cool toned pink, while in reality it’s a very warm toned reddish pink. Undoubtedly beautiful, but still very misleading. The best part about this product is that it doesn’t clog pores and make mini Mount Vesuvius’ erupt on my face, for which I can’t be thankful enough.

Cons of ELF Studio Cream Blush in Seductress :
1.Availiablity is an issue.
2. Swatches on the website are misleading.
3. Unnecessarily bulky packaging
4. No applicator provided
5. More expensive than other e.l.f. Studio Line products
