How are you all doing, I hope you are in pink of health as due to changing weather I am suffering from cold. Anyways sometime back my brother and sister in law were visiting from the States and I did a huge haul from there from ELF, Clinique, and some other stuff, as such opportunities do not come often, but I was seriously most excited about Elf products more than anything else as some things are better not judged by price. Many products have already been reviewed here and today’s review is going to be on the very popular eyebrow kit.
Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined. The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the color complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The doubled sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look.

My Experience with Elf Studio Eyebrow kit:
Eyebrows frame the face and can either make or break the look, and I just cannot neglect them as I love the look of strong brows. This is the first time I am trying a brow gel, I have used a brow pencil from essence and brow powder from inglot but always wanted to try a gel. Elf eyebrow kit comes in 4 shades light, medium, dark, ash. I was originally rooting for the dark one, but as it was out of stock I went ahead with Medium one.
The packaging is just awesome, considering the price. It comes in a see through box. And the kit inside is sleek and classy looking with a matte black finish. It is very compact and can be carried around easily. When opened there are 3 compartments one for brow wax, one for powder and one for a small dual sided brush, it also has a tiny mirror attached which is very helpful while travelling. And comes with a plastic sheet inside.
It comprises of two products brow wax and powder. The wax is dark brown colored and the powder is light almost a chestnut brown shade. The wax consistency seems just right it is not very thin or thick and application is quick and easy. It is not extremely pigmented; you need to swipe in 2-3 times to get a good amount of product. I cannot compare it to any other wax as I have not used any. It does not look harsh and cakey and looks extremely natural but at the same times fills in the gaps easily.
The brow powder is almost two shades lighter than the wax and very smooth when touched. Once the brush is swirled in you get the product on brush but it also comes of pretty sheer when swached alone and also has a bit of fallout, but when used to set the wax it works like a charm. The shade is slightly lighter for me, but I would rather go lighter than darker when it comes to brows or else it would look very harsh and stark. If you have extremely dark black brow hairs then dark would be perfect for you. The brush inside has a flat dome brush on one side and a small angled brush on other side, it is slightly flimsy but it is good option during emergencies while travelling, but on regular basis I prefer any regular angled brush. It seriously does not need any touch ups; it stays on for whole day when both used together. In all they both go hand in hand, you won’t be able to get the best result when used alone.
Pros of Elf Studio Eyebrow kit:
• Sleek and sturdy
• Comes with a small brush and mirror
• Comes in four shades
• Looks very natural and fills in the gaps easily
• Using it is very easy
• Stays on for whole day
• Very Affordable
Cons of Pros of Elf Studio Eyebrow kit:
• Brush is flimsy
• Not extremely pigmented
• Both the powder and wax have to be used together for best results
• Availability-ELF when are you coming to India?
Do I recommend Elf Studio Eyebrow kit?
Of course, it is so functional and looks great. Next time I will be trying the Dark one.
