My Experience with Elf Studio Glossy Gloss Wild Watermelon:
These glosses were a part of my Elf haul. The packaging is very sleek and simple. It comes in a squarish plastic packaging with a matte black packaging. It does not look cheap from any angle and are completely travel friendly.
The color wild watermelon is a beautiful bright but warm medium pink shade will look good on most skin tones. It is free from any shimmers. As the name suggests it has a very creamy and has a glossy finish. The pigmentation is superb considering it is a lip gloss. It will show up on pigmented lips as well, it might need slight layering. I get good color payoff in a single swipe. It has this mild sweet smell, which is not very much noticeable. It works great on top of lip liner and lip sticks as well.
The texture is slightly thick and very creamy and moisturizing, they are also slightly sticky but then the stickiness also adds to lasting power. It stays for a good 3 hours when used alone after which you might need touch up. With meals as well it stays for 3 hours but there is slight fading. With a base underneath it does last longer. The applicator is different from the sponge tip one, and has a brush applicator, it picks up good amount of product and you do not need to dip in again. After fading it leaves behind a slight tint. I am really happy that I at least gave these a try as to my surprise they are great considering the price. The shade wild watermelon is totally worth trying, and I will definitely pick more of the shades next time.
Elf Studio Glitter Gloss Glam Guava:
Dazzle and shine with this intense, show-stopping glitter filled gloss. Infused with light-reflecting micro pearls, this non-sticky gloss illuminates lips with sheer brilliance and lots of color. Vitamin E hydrates lips for additional lip-quenching moisture while the precision brush applicator provides the perfect amount of gloss for effortless coverage, every time.
My Experience with Elf Studio Glitter Gloss Glam Guava:
I mostly stay away from shimmery and glittery products, but I had never tried any lip gloss with shimmer and wanted to try one. The packaging and the applicator is same as wild watermelon. But there is significant difference in texture and other aspects.
The color glam guava is light almost like a nude pink color with very tiny pink and gold shimmer flecks, the shimmer is not at all large and chunky, but it does make lips look more luscious. It is not very glossy like the previous one and is slightly on the sheer side. It will not cover pigmented lips. I need two coats to get opaque coverage. It has a slight fruity fragrance. The color on its own can wash out dusky skin tones. But then it can always be used on top of lip liner and lipsticks.
The texture is smooth, not very creamy and is also more sticky compared to wild watermelon one. It keeps lips moisturized and a lip balm is not required. It stays for 3 to 4 hours on its own, and on top of a base it will stay good for 4 hours. In all I will not be buying this one again, mainly because I am not too fond of shimmers but if you like shimmery products then it is a decent lip gloss to try.
