ELF Studio Makeup Remover Pen Review

ELF Studio Makeup Remover Pen

Hello gorgeous ladies,

Many a times when we use gel liner or waterproof mascaras and blink the yes in a jiffy, then those black particles tend to appear under the eye and looks very messy and in order to remove it we might just end up creating raccoon eyes or creating a big jumble. Hence this is one of my new discoveries that is helping me a lot with this problem. This is a make-up remover pen from ELF which looks exactly like a marker and helps removing all the imperfections or mistakes that are caused during make-up to give a beautiful and finished look.

My experience with the ELF studio makeup remover pen:

Normally when the eye liner is not applied correctly, I use a napkin or an ear bud to clean off the imperfection and that totally causes a black film because you know that gel liner is very hard and difficult to remove, hence there is always a need for something like this and I am glad that I came across this one. The ELF makeup remover pen came in a black sleek box and had all the instructions about the formula and the ways to use it. The makeup remover pen resembles a big fat marker which is black in colour and the cap is transparent. The size is pretty small and hence it is very easy to carry this one. This is one of the best things that you can carry along when you know that due to the heat or something the make-up may start creasing, this will help to maintain that clean and fresh look through-out the day. The tip of the pen is like a marker’s tip; fat and white. There is no fragrance released while using this one. It works on all the waterproof makeup and bold coloured hard lipsticks too. Most of the times a mistake is caused when I use a gel liner and I simply swipe this pen on the mistake and boo, it is gone! It does not leave a black or a greasy film behind and helps the make-up to remain fresh. It did not cause any kind itching after use as well. The only problem with this one is that after removing the make-up, the tip becomes coloured in case of lipsticks and black in case of an eyeliner and they say wipe it off with a tissue, but it takes a lot of time and pressure to wipe the makeup from the tip and a lot of formula goes wasted because you are continuously wiping the tip. But I don’t mind because it is doing its job in the most amazing way and I unconditionally love it!

    1. Yeah, I was thinking about that. Most of the time it’s black eyeliner I need to clean up. But what if it’s just a light shadow. Eeks. Still great for touch-ups!

      1. Yes exactly that is the major con with this one… *haan ji* its pretty difficult na to remove the stain but for now its of great use as the major problem caused is with the eye liner so probably i wouldn’t use it for anything else.. *hifive* *hifive*

        1. Yes devie what you can do is keep it for cleaning only the liners because that is a bit diffcult to wipe off with a cotton bud but for eye shadows you can use a cotton bud *hifive* *hifive* what i saw was even if the tip is black due to improper cleaning ; it will not leave behind any color the next time you swipe it because the tip has already absorbed it so the next time you use it, you will get a proper cleaning of the make-up *hifive* *hifive* *hifive* *happy dance*
