ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Coral Cutie

My take on ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Coral Cutie:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black card-box, which is unique in its own style. Enclosed is a lipstick in matte black packaging. The only shade besides black on the card-box is coral, which reflects the shade of the lipstick. Also, the color ring/band on the lipstick case is coral.
Texture and finish: These lipsticks are truly moisturising. I am suffering from chapped and parched lips these days, so the application gives me relief to great extent till they last on my lips. The texture is very creamy and the lipstick finishes in a bit creamy lustrous finish. It contains no shimmer.
Colour and pigmentation: The shade Coral Cutie is a soft peach shade. Major clicks are in sunlight, in which the color of the bullet looks very orange, which actually is in reality that when I opened it the first time, I got scared of this orange shade. In the garden picture (which is under the shade) and swatch, it looks peach shade. This shade will suit all skin complexions. It doesn’t wash me out and is a very decent shade for daily wear. The pigmentation is below average; several swipes deposit the color intensity on lips but then it starts getting flaky; so the lips should be properly scrubbed before the application. Else, it settles in dry flakes and fine lines of the lips.
Longevity and transferability: This creamy shade is somewhat transferrable to mugs and glasses. Longevity is three hours maximum, without any meals. So be prepared for touch-ups always. The packaging is travel friendly to facilitate reapplications. It fades unevenly, leaving no stain behind.
Pros of ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Coral Cutie:
• Very moisturising lipstick.
• Creamy texture.
• Really good for dry, chapped & parched lips.
• Adorable peach shade.
• Medium sheer coverage.
• Does not bleed even without a lipliner.
• No fragrance.
• Contains shea, vitamin A, E and C.
• Very comfortable to wear.
• Travel friendly packaging.
Cons of ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Coral Cutie:
• Long lasting claim is not true.
• Vanishes with a meal.
• Contains Parabens.
• Settles into fine lines and flakes if lips are not scrubbed.
• Fades unevenly with no stain.
• Periodic reapplication required.
• Transferable to some extent.
Recommendation and repurchase:
This shade didn’t impress me like the Pink Minx shade. But I really love the moisturization in these lipsticks so I recommend them because I say a “yes” to repurchasing these.
