Hello all beautiful ladies and Asalamolaikum / Namastey….!
My only resolution for 2014 is to collect lots of lipsticks 😀 Besides, I have a feeling that IMBB readers love to read about lipsticks :D. These are the last ones from my ELF haul, so you guys can take a sigh of relief. Let’s move on to the review.

My take on ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Pink Minx:
Packaging: As per the tradition of ELF cosmetics to deliver the products in a neat packaging, the lipstick comes in a unique black card-box packaging, which houses the matte black lipstick case. Every colored part on the box reflects the shade of the lipstick. Even the band on the matte case is pink. I love the packaging.
Texture and finish: Like the name itself, the lipstick is very creamy and moisturising. It literally feels like velvet on lips. Even very dry and parched lips feel soothe with this lipstick. The texture is smooth and hydrating. The finish is semi-matte with a bit of lustre, but more on matte site. It slightly creases and feathers, but fades evenly. It doesn’t bleed even without a lipliner underneath. It doesn’t contain sparkles.
Colour and pigmentation: The shade Pink Minx is a soft pink shade, which doesn’t wash me out. The shade is meant for fair and medium fair skin complexions; dusky complexions may not like this shade I guess. The pigmentation is not bad but several swipes are required to build opacity of the shade on lips.
Longevity and transferability: This creamy shade is highly transferrable. Staying power is around three hours without any meals. You take a meal and it vanishes completely without any stain behind. However, occasional water/tea intake is survived by this pretty lipstick. So be prepared for periodical applications to carry this shade around. Also, it is travel friendly as the cap shuts tightly.
Pros of ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Pink Minx:
• Very creamy and moisturising lipstick.
• Smooth texture and very appropriate for dry lips.
• Really beautiful soft pink shade.
• All the shades in the range are very beautiful.
• Opacity is medium.
• Does not bleed.
• No fragrance.
• Travel friendly packaging.
Cons of ELF Studio Moisturising Lipstick – Pink Minx:
• Longevity is just 3 hours.
• Contains Parabens.
• Feathers and creases slightly.
• Fades unevenly.
• Periodic reapplication required.
Recommendation and repurchase:
Despite the cons, the shade is so beautiful that I have rated it generously. All the shades and the texture in the range are very appealing. I think everyone must own one shade from the range. I am going to pick others, but ELF is not easily available here so I have to wait for online stores to sell this variant again. Mondays are difficult to start but still, have a happy week and wish me luck for exams!
