How is the day coming along? I am finally back on IMBB after such a long time. I have moved to the States alongside my sister and there have been many things which kept me away from writing on IMBB although I have been a regular follower. Today, I am going to review yet another ELF product, the Studio Lip Balm SPF 15 in the shade “Peach.” Previously too, I had done product reviews on ELF. This has been my favorite brand due to its cheap yet quality makeup. Anything that says peach, pink or coral should be in my stash. Hence in my latest haul, I decided to buy this peach shade. Read on to know how this lip balm fared for me.

My Experience with ELF Studio Peach Lip Balm SPF 15:
Well, this is one of my recent purchases that I made towards the end of summer. ELF products are so cheap but their packaging definitely does not look likewise. These cute lip balms comes well packed in a black carton; typical ELF packaging. The shade of the lip balm can be easily identified from the packaging itself. The lip balm comes packaged in a thin and sleek outer black packaging which makes it look really edgy and classy. It’s amazing how thin the packaging is, unlike most lip balms, making it travel friendly. It almost looks like a lipstick that is mistaken for a lip balm: P
The shade “Peach” is basically a sheer coral orange color. It has a nice warm undertone to it which makes it different from most peach lip balms available in the market. It has absolutely no shimmer particles. The lip balm comes with SPF 15 which is a great deal.
The fragrance of the lip balm is minty and has a cooling effect once applied on the lips, however, this feeling lasts for only a couple of minutes. The lip balm goes on to apply smoothly on the lips leaving a nice plumped feel initially. However, as the day wears off, the lip balm begins to dry up and leave a dry patchy feel which requires reapplication. In short, it has a wear time of about 3-4 hours, after which lips feel dry. The color is quite buildable but will not be able to cover darker lips properly as this is a lip balm which means it isn’t heavily pigmented as a lipstick.
The texture and feel is average like most lip balms it moisturizes well and provides a smooth application. Exfoliated lips are a must as this is a pigmented lip balm and can settle in fine lines. Staying power is good approximately 3-4 hours after which a pretty peachy stain is left on the lips. This totally looks natural and I love that.

Do give this a try if you want a good sheer tint on your lips and need SPF in your lip balm. Overall, I am really impressed with this ELF Lip Balm since for the price the quality and productivity is good.
