My Experience with ELF Studio Powder Brush – Flat Top:

I will tell you at the very beginning that I love this brush! I mostly use it with my MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation and it works really well! I will go step by step and tell you all about this brush.

It’s a very soft brush that feels so nice and gentle on the skin. I have dry, acne-prone skin and this brush is ever-so-gentle on my face. Secondly, the hairs of this brush are synthetic, so you can feel free to use it with wet products as well. You can use it with liquid or powder foundation, liquid or powder blush, bronzer etc. It is a great, multi-purpose brush.

Thirdly, it provides excellent, even, flawless coverage. Since I use it with powder foundation, I can vouch for that. I was using a different brush with my MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation before I switched to this one, so I know for sure that this brush makes a huge difference to the way the powder applies and sets on my face.

The design of this brush is convenient and easy-to-use. The handle and the shape of the hair is perfect for me. This brush also substitutes a kabuki brush for me.

Another thing that I should mention is the hair of this brush does not shed while cleaning, so that’s a really good thing. The only downside is that because this is such a dense brush, it is a little difficult to clean as well as I would like to, and it also takes a while to dry. So, keep in mind that it will take about 20-24 hours to dry completely and therefore wash it at a time when you don’t need to use it soon after!

  • Great price.

Cons of ELF Studio Powder Brush – Flat Top:

  • A little difficult to clean properly because of its density.
