Continuing with the pampering products gifted by IMBB, here is another lip liner from the same range in the shade Rose, 10 from the house of Elizabeth Arden. From the name itself you might have imagined the shade range it falls in, but a word of caution is to go through the post to know how this particular shade differs from the sister shades.
Price: Rs. 1200/- for 0.35gm
My experience with Elizabeth Arden #10 Rose Beautiful Color Precision Glide Lip Liner :
I have written a lot regarding the gorgeous packaging and all of them stand for this particular shade as well. The smudger, sharpener, outer carton and color coded band on the lip liner are all part of a very thoughtful and intelligent packaging. The texture here is smooth no doubt but the horrible part is the swatching on lips. It just refuses to sit on the lips. It feathers and flakes and simply refuses to do what it is meant to. With the balm beneath it slips and without it flakes like crazy. I do not know if I got a defective piece but if this is the same with all the pieces, EA needs to work on the formulation. Paying such a hefty price for a dud really hurts and I would never recommend this particular shade to anybody. You would get lots of better pigmented and formulated products in the market in lesser price, so do not waste on this.
The shade is light milky pink which might wash out people above NC40-42. Anyways if you are applying this you have to top off with a gloss or balm, you cannot wear it alone. I wanted to show you guys how awful it looks so I have worn it on its own (no eww/yuck allowed, mind it! :P)
I would never suggest this particular shade to anybody, but still if you like Elizabeth Arden as a brand, do check out, they have other pretty shades (reviews coming up).
