Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Moisturizing Body Lotion Review

By Divya Menon

Hello beauties,

I am a big fan of Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Perfume and that’s why I was delighted to receive this body lotion. Let’s read more about it. 🙂

Price: $14
Product Description:
This luxuriously scented hydrating lotion leaves skin feeling velvety soft all -day.
Fragrance Mood: Chic. Sophisticated. Beautiful.
Inspired by the classic architecture and distinctive Manhattan skyline, Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue captures the alluring style of the most famous street in the world. The fragrance exudes the energy and excitement of New York while maintaining classic femininity and luxury.

Top notes – soft florals of lilac, dewy magnolia and linden blossom. Middle notes embrace the white floral scent of sweet jasmine, carnation and Indian tuberose. The base notes are composed of spicy sandalwood and Tibetan musk.
It has a simple and attractive packaging. This lotion comes in a white coloured opaque tube with a flip cap. Since the tube is white in color, it isn’t completely opaque and the quantity can be seen when the tube is held against the light. The product description and details are printed on the front and at the back of the tube. Since the lotion is slightly runny, I would have personally loved the lotion with a pump dispenser. There are chances of leakage, hence I don’t think this is a travel-friendly packaging unless the cap is sealed.

My Experience with Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Moisturizing Body Lotion:

I got this lotion in a gift pack, hence I have the entire range. This is a medium weight lotion which is white in colour. As you all would be aware, 5th Avenue is one of the best-selling perfumes by Elizabeth Arden, and this lotion does full justice to its league.

The lotion and the body wash both smell just like the perfume and the fragrance is just amazing. The lotion has a fresh floral smell and it stays as is for a long time. Even though the base notes are musky, the flowery smell still lingers, giving you a refreshing feeling all day long. The lotion is slightly runny and you need to be careful when you use the product since it is in a tube packaging.

The lotion is watery but glides on smoothly upon application and gets absorbed quickly. I must confess that this luxurious lotion is one of the best-smelling lotions. It not only softens and smoothens the skin, it also hydrates and moisturises the skin, giving you a velvety feeling all day long. It is suitable for all skin types and makes skin healthy and nourished. Wish it came with an SPF, though.

Pros of Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Moisturizing Body Lotion:

• Neither too light nor too heavy for the skin.
• Comes in a simple tube packaging.
• Provides intense hydration.
• Leaves the skin supple, fragrant and smooth.
• Fresh scent.
• Travel-friendly lightweight tube (if sealed).
• Suitable for all skin types.
• Skin feels velvety soft all day long.
• Quick absorption with no residue.

Cons of Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Moisturizing Body Lotion:

• I would have preferred a pump dispenser.
• No SPF.

IMBB Rating: 5/5
