Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum

Hi Beauties,

I am reviewing an eye care product today for all of you. The most major problem in my face is my eyes. I am not that old, but the skin around my eyes is more of the mature category. It has fine lines and wrinkles. Though I never suffer from puffiness as such, but I do have dark circles all around my eyes. I do follow many home remedies for these, but whenever I see an eye cream/serum in the market, I just cannot resist picking it up. I know most of the times these are duds, but I still can’t resist buying them.I  have been using it for nearly two months (almost used it up), and felt I am ready to review it now.

About the product: Skin around your eyes craves Ceramides, moisture-magnet lipids skin makes in abundance when we’re young. This hydrating serum helps restore your natural Ceramide, instantly retexturizing skin, minimizing the appearance of puffiness, and dark circles for a firmer look and fewer wrinkles. These pure, potent, intensive single-dose capsules contain CLX Complex. This complex delivers the restorative power of Ceramides and essential lipids to help strengthen skin’s barrier against the visible signs of time. Always a customer favorite, these capsules fortify skin in the eye area to help fight fine lines and crow’s feet and give your eyes a younger, smoother, brighter look.

• Lifts and contours the eye area.
• Supports collagen to give a firmer, less lined appearance.
• Calms and relieves puffiness.
• Safe for sensitive eyes.
• Can be used by all skin types.

My Experience with Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum :

It comes in a Golden box packaging, inside which is the golden coloredjar holding the capsules. The jar is extremely stylish and sophisticated looking. It has to be pressed at one end to snap open the lid. Inside is another plastic cover, inside which are kept 60 golden color, pearl shaped capsules. These capsules are also very pleasant to look at. Overall, the entire packaging has been kept very luxurious and sophisticated.
The capsules contain the eye serum, which has many good ingredients. It has got ceramides, several antioxidants, and cell-communicating ingredients. The capsule has to be twisted open, and contains a very light, oily serum. Since one capsule is advised for one application, the ingredients remain in active state since each application requires opening of a different capsule. The amount of serum in each capsule is more than adequate for one application (i.e. two eyes). I think, they could have decreased the amount in each capsule, and increased the actual number of capsules.

The serum is clear, gentle and extremely light weight. It has no fragrance at all. The formula is not thick; it has not caused any reactions, milia, irritations in and around my eyes. It does not feel oily or greasy at all. There are 60 capsules in each jar, it is advised to use one capsule twice a day, however since they are costly, I use it only at night time. So one jar has lasted me for 60 days. I use up one capsule in one application only since I donot like to keep the capsule open and prone to infection entering it. As you can see from the photos, I have only a few left.

On application around the eye area, it applies very easily and gets absorbed quickly into the skin. It makes the skin very smooth. It hydrates the skin, plumps it up and works best for fine lines and wrinkles. It has actually reduced the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. It also soothes tired eyes when we massage this serum around the eye area. However, where dark circles are concerned, it has made no difference at all.
