My Take on Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Gel Eyeliner
This is the best gel liner I have used till date. Well, I own gel liner from Maybelline, Coastal Scents and ELF (well, I have not tried it as yet 😛 ), but I can simply say that Elizabeth Arden’s gel liner is the best among what I have come across in terms of quality and texture.
It is a matte dark brown gel eye liner. It’s more of a brown black liner than a chocolate brown one. This is a shade that would easily suit all skin tones and be visible on pigmented eye lids even.
It is like silk, pure silk to touch and feel. Glides and sets like a dream. :jalwa: The liner is waterproof, smudge proof and dries off like lightening.
The brush is super soft, even softer than many of my eye shadow brushes I just love the way I can easily use it to apply a thick or a thin liner.
The gel liner comes in an attractive red/black cardboard packaging which has all the necessary details and ingredient list mentioned. The liner is packed in a glass container with a glossy black screw lid on top. The container is almost non-breakable as I accidently dropped it hard on the tiled floor, but nothing happened to it. 😛 😉
The brush comes inside the cardboard box only, but in its own plastic wrapping and a tight plastic covering for its bristles. It’s a beautiful golden black combination brush whose bristles are super duper soft.
The liner can be used on the waterline safely as there is no fragrance or glittery effect attached to it. On top of the lid, without any primer/base, the liner stayed easily for 6 hours after which it started fading evenly. On the waterline too, it stayed for around 4 hours on me, actually that depends on how thick/dark you apply it. I applied it lightly on the waterline though.

Cons of Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Gel Eyeliner
Well, I can’t think of any except for the availability issue.
Yes, I would definitely want to try the teal shade available the very next time I can get some stuff from my friend. I am super impressed with this one and totally and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves a natural-looking gel liner on a daily basis.
